my head starts pounding as i sit in the back of this car with 3 guys guarding me. they're all cracking jokes and smoking cigarettes, as if i'm not even here. my hands are cuffed behind my back and my eyes are slow shutting off on me
they finally got me
i wanted to scream, i wanted to fight them just like how joey taught me but my body was numb. i felt weaker than ever, a feeling of guilt waves over. i didn't expect ethan to actually betray me but then again i don't know what to expect
why didn't he just take me the day he would spend the night at madison's with me or the time we went ice skating, he had so many chances. he knows i'm pregnant and still threw me in here
the only thing keeping me sane is that i might see jay and sophia, also another reason why i'm not fighting back. i haven't seen them in months and i can't imagine how they must be feeling
"want a hit princess?" one of the guards puts a cigarette in my face, the other two laugh
i roll my eyes and look away from him. i think i'm already getting high from second hand smoke, "yes" i fake a grin
they looked surprised that i actually agreed, he leans in closer to me to put the cigarette in my mouth, the other two staring
"don't inhale too much sweethear-"
i spit in his face just before he puts it near my mouth, he takes a step back wiping away my spit as the other two hold in their laughs
he grabs my shirt, pulling me off the ground, "you can spit on me all you want but it won't last once giovanni kills you"
my eyes widen at his response, he pushes me on the floor of the car and i take a deep breath. this headache only gets worse as they continue to smoke. all the windows are up as well trapping the air
i feel like car come to a stop and within seconds the back door is open. the bright sun makes me squint my eyes, trying to adjust to the new light. i feel them grab me from the floor and pull me out the car
"she's quiet aye?" the guard says
"she'll be screaming once giovanni and ryan get here" another one says
a black lamborghini approaches behind us making me startle at how close it is to me. giovanni gets out the car with another man that i'm assuming is ryan
"beautiful elena, i can't wait to show you around" giovanni tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear, "sophia got her looks from you" he adds
i keep my mouth shut as he continues
"you must be so excited to see them right?" giovanni grabs the back of my neck, pulling me closer to him, "you guys can leave now" he lowers his eyes at the guards
i hear them getting in their cars behind me and driving away, i look over at ryan. he had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. it still amazes me that people think giovanni will save them
all i can think about is joey and where the hell he is. i should've never left the house. every time i leave him something horrible happens
"ryan take her" giovanni says, letting go of me
he walks back to his side of the car, ryan grabs my arm and pulls me over, opening the door and pushing me in the back
i groan as my body hits the seat
"be gentle with her, she's a baby" giovanni says to ryan once he gets in the passenger seat
i roll my eyes and look out the window. my hands are starting to hurt against the metal of the cuffs, it feels like i can taste the metal, unless that's the blood in my mouth from biting my tongue to hard
