it's 5am now and i'm exhausted. how long do masquerade balls last for?
i have something over my head blocking me from seeing what's going on
"we can't do this in public" i hear
"so what! everyone here knows the plan" i hear a chuckle
the bag is pulled off my head and my eyes widen when i see giovanni in front of me, "let go of me!"
he knees down and puts tape on my mouth, i take a deep breath and look in his eyes
he smiles, "aren't you adorable"
standing next to him is another boy with black hair and my oh my was he attracting. he was tall and had tattoos over his neck
he's on look out while giovanni makes a couple phone calls, the boy stares at me and kicks my leg
"sophia looks just like you" he smiles
i roll my eyes at him and watch him leave the room. the noise of people talking and cups getting clicked roams through the room i'm in
the door shuts closed and i stare at giovanni
he grabs a sharp object and sits down next to me, "why has no one came to save you yet?"
"do you know why we want you?" he ask and i shake my head
"you guys killed gabe and we know that you're the one joey wants to keep protected" he traces my skin with the sharp object
"we want you to work for us, we'll give you your kids back and they can live the life you want them too" gio smiles, slowly pulling the tape off my mouth
"that's it? that's all you want?" i furrow my brows
"yes, you will serve for me and never see joey or your kids ever again" he pokes me and i flinch
blood starts coming out my thigh and i groan, "stop"
"or what?" he chuckles
"why are we still here?"
"we're waiting to kill your little buddies that came with you beautiful"
the door opens and carter walks in with a gun in his hand, giovanni is quick to stand up
"put the gun down" gio laughs
"elena get out" carter yells
"i cant" i show him my hands
leo walks in and tries opening the tie, giovanni yells and carter shoots the gun
"hurry" i whisper
leo grabs my arm and pulls me out the room, "where is ethan?" i cry
"get out of here elena" leo tells me before running back into the room
i take my heels off and run to the closest exit, the room echoes with gun shots and everyone inside starts panicking
i run outside and look around for the car but it's gone. how is it gone? it's only been a hour
i start panicking, i look around for my phone and realize i didn't even bring it
shit
a girl passes by me and i grab her arm, "can i please borrow your phone"
she nods and quickly gives me her phone, i dial madison because she's the only one who can get me
