I open my eyes at medyo kumurap-kurap ako against the sunlight hitting my face.

"Good morning," Ollie says and I stretch my arms up.

I looked around me para i-check kung nasaan na kami and I think we're on an expressway.

Kumunot ang noo ko and I look at Ollie, "Where are we?"

"SLEX," he says simply.

I shake my head, still a little bit disoriented, "Sorry, saan nga tayo pupunta? I thought we were going to meet with the coordinator?"

He's just staring at the road while he answers, "Yeah. Hindi kasi siya available sa office niya today so he asked if we could meet him at a wedding he's at today."

Nanlaki ang mata ko, "We're going to a wedding?"

He smirks, "We're not attending, Mi. Pupuntahan lang natin siya doon so we can discuss yung details ng birthday ni Lola."

I pout, "Kanina mo pa alam? Bakit 'di mo sinabi sa akin?"

Kumunot ang noo niya, "Kahapon ko pa alam when I set the meeting. Kaya I wanted to leave early. Why? Is there a problem, Mi?"

I rub at my eyes, "Wala naman. I just wanted to know."

I should know, right? I have the right to know kung saan kami pupunta, bakit kasi kailangan ilihim sa akin, hindi naman ako magrereklamo.

He sighs, "Sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

I look outside and just watch the cars pass us by. I miss having conversations with Ollie that don't turn into arguments.

Biglang nag-signal si Ollie and he goes into a gas station, I don't ask why we're stopping here kasi baka hindi rin naman niya sagutin so I'll just keep my mouth shut for the rest of the trip.

He enters a drive-thru of a coffee shop and I know that this is his way of saying sorry.

He turns to me, "Anong order mo, Mi?"

I look at him and just say, "Triple mocha frappe."

I'm annoyed with him pero I can't pass on free coffee.

He just nods.

We stay silent while we wait our turn to order.

Ollie orders, gets additional pastries and bottled water for us.

When he gets to the next window I see two girls were waiting to serve us. Two.

One girl tells Ollie, "Hi Sir. That will be 745 pesos."

Ollie takes out a credit card and hands it over, "Here."

Hindi masyado discreet yung isa sa pagsilip sa credit card ni Ollie, the first girl says, "Sir Oliver? Right?"

Ollie just nods.

The second girl looks at me and gives me a small smile. Probably embarrassed to be caught looking at him. Ollie however, is totally oblivious.

The second girl hands over our order and Ollie just thanks her. I reach for my coffee and immediately sip mine while Ollie gets his card from the first girl.

Both girls say his name and wave goodbye as we were pulling out of the drive-thru.

I shake my head while I sip on my drink.

Napalingon sa akin si Ollie, "What?"

I shrug, "Feeling ko lang may mang-sstalk sa 'yo mamaya sa Facebook."
