Hello!
This is the second story I've completed in 2020, the other one entitled Is This Seat Taken?.
Started writing it last April and didn't update it for four months. Gaah! But it's all good, it's still a huge accomplishment for me.
I can't say na mas nagkaroon ako ng time to write during the year dahil sa quarantine/lockdowns, because I'm still working the same hours, siguro the time I spend travelling is the only time I guess I've saved from working from home.
We all need some sort of distraction during these times, sunod sunod ang mga nangyayari sa Pilipinas, from volcanoes erupting, a worldwide pandemic, typhoons and natural calamities, you name it we went through it.
So, why do I write more now? I guess mas na-inspire akong mag-create ng bagong stories because we all need something to do or to accomplish habang nangyayari ang mga bagay na 'to sa buhay natin.
We've been cooped up for so long that we need to live vicariously through these characters and live in their make-believe worlds for a moment.
I think making someone smile or making someone feel something other than the pressures of this year is enough for me to say that my stories are a success.
So, I hope this story brought some entertainment in your life while we're going through this crazy year.
And if you're reading this in the year that is no longer 2020, well I still hope Mimi and Ollie's story made you smile.
