Requested: Reader asks Elsa out frequently, but Elsa rejects her every single time. One week, Elsa doesn't see her, and she finds out that Y/N moved. Timeskip, Elsa is a CEO and meets the reader again.

It's August 1st, and the day to get rejected again.

"Elsa, will you go out with me?" I asked her. She got up from the tree she was reading under, her platinum blond hair blowing in the soft breeze.

"You ask me every single month on the first, and I always say no. Why do you keep asking when you know the answer?" she rose an eyebrow.

I shrugged, "Thought I'd give it one last shot." I waved cheerfully and headed back to my apartment. It's true, I asked her out monthly, but I thought I would try one last time since I was moving out in half an hour. She rejected me as usual, but I thought she kinda enjoyed me asking her out.

We had just graduated from high school, and I was moving to Boston to study at Harvard, and form there I'll go wherever work takes me. I'm going to miss asking out Elsa, but I suppose it was time for me to move on from my high school crush. I'll find someone who loved me someday, but the platinum blonde was something special.

I pulled out my keys and unlocked the apartment door, grabbing the suitcase full of everything I would need. My friend, Merida, was going to come by with a truck and get the furniture. I looked around one last time, before shutting the door.

Elsa POV

I shook my head in amusement when Y/N left. To be honest, I kind of enjoyed that she asked me out, not that I would ever admit that to anyone. She's a nice girl, very pretty, smart too since she made it into Harvard, and the most hilarious person I know. I smiled unconsciously, Maybe I'll go visit her, see if she wants to have dinner. That'll surprise her.

I knew the way to her apartment since we had a couple of school projects together, but when I got there, her car was gone.

"Are you looking for Y/N?" a curly red haired girl asked.

"Yes," I said, an unfamiliar feeling filling up my chest as I looked at this girl. Was she Y/N's girlfriend? I dismissed the thought, she wouldn't ask me out if she already dating someone.

"I'm Merida. She's driving to Boston so she can study at Harvard. I'm only helping her move the furniture," Merida said, putting a chair in the truck.

"Oh, thank you," I said, walking away. She's moving? She's gone? Why didn't she tell me. Wait she did: "I thought I'd give it one last shot." I put my head in my hands. I would really miss that H/C girl.

Timeskip 20 years, Your POV

I walked out of the hospital, and I couldn't wait to go home and gorge myself on sushi. Best thing ever invented. It was a nice day, and I lived close to work, so I denied my friend's offer to give me a drive home.

I walked to the park, and marvelled at how huge a tree has grown. He must have been strong to survive humans.

"Y/N?" I turned to see who was calling me, but I already knew that voice. I met shocked blue eyes, and her signature braid was now loose and falling freely down her shoulders.

I grinned, "Did you come all the way to Boston just to see me, Snowflake?" Her hug surprised me, but I didn't hesitate to wrap my arms around her back.

"I came to visit my friend, Rapunzel. I didn't think you would be working here," Elsa said.

"Yeah, but they had a job for me here, and I took it. I'm a doctor now," I said proudly. Something flickered across her face, before she smiled nervously.

"Do you want to take a walk?"

"Aren't we already?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well I..." she mumbled something that I couldn't quite hear.

"I couldn't catch that, what did you say Snowfl-"

"I really missed you," Elsa blurted out.

I laughed, "Oh, well I missed you too."

"No, I mean I really, really missed you," Elsa said. She suddenly stepped closer to me, and pressed her lips gently against mine. It surprised me, but when she moved to pull away, I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her back in.

My eyes fluttered closed, and I tightened my grip on her waist. Her soft lips felt perfect against mine, and it was all over too soon.

"You rejected me all those years ago just to do that now?" I teased, and Elsa flushed.

"Well, I realized how much I liked you when you were gone. Your red haired friend told me that you moved," Elsa said.

"Hmmm, will you go out with me now?" I asked.

She pretended to think hard, before crashing our lips together again. I took that as a yes.
