To say that Alice had outdone herself with the wedding would be an understatement.

The already beautiful backyard of the Cullen household had been decorated incredibly well. Walking in at first I had felt like I was stepping into a magical world and was initiated as a fairy or something.

I sighed at the scene before me. Before being able to turn away a cold arm was wrapped around my waist, pulling me in to a hard body. Right away I knew it was Jasper, as Edward was too polite to do such a thing and Emmett would have done something far more aggressive.

Jasper pressed his nose to my hair and rubbed my hip gently. Inhaling slowly and beginning to open his mouth to speak, it was too late.

"Oh thank God you're here. Come on now we need to get you ready too. You two can be clingy later."

"Really Alice?" I complained all the way up the stairs.

"Yes really. Besides, I saved you from listening to him put his foot in his mouth again. Trust me it was gonna be bad."

Seeing Bella in the chair with her hair done in a pretty up-do and light makeup was strange. I always thought she had a natural beauty but watching them make it more obvious was weird at first.

She sat quietly and seemed deep in thought. Not wanting to bother her I just let Rosalie and Alice fulfill their dreams of dressing me up.

It took forever.

I didn't expect them to break into a whole argument over my hair and Alice intentionally touch Rose with the curling wand. Rose broke Alice's eyeliner pencil and by that time Esme had came in to defuse the situation while Bella and I sat in an amused horror.

"Alright hun, you can't hide forever," Esme whispered into my ear.

"I'm not hiding. I just don't wanna fight today and ruin something."

She gave me a warm smile and reached over to rub my arm. "Love, you two barely fight. Despite how often you butt heads you always go back to normal within a couple days. Didn't I tell you the story of when I was so mad at Carlisle I locked him outside and wouldn't leave the bedroom? He kept climbing up and tried talking to me through the window."

I laughed loudly, the picture carving itself into my brain forever. "Maybe I should just wait until tomorrow and throw another paint balloon at him."

"Do I at least get to pick the color?" Jasper's voice scared me, making me jump up and hit my head on the mirror before tripping on my heals.

Looking back and forth between Esme and Jasper I sighed dramatically and grabbed his hand, pulling him downstairs and into the yard.

"I'm sorry I overreacted," I mumbled, more to the ground than to him.

"No, I'm sorry for acting on impulse so often. Where I come from the men decided things and took care of their significant other, which is still no excuse. Part of the reason I love you so much is because of how stubborn and headstrong you are. I just don't like thinking about you struggling when I could be helping."

Jasper tilted my head up, staring into my eyes to make sure his words sunk in. "You look beautiful by the way." I forced myself into his cold embrace and could myself growing happier.

-----------------------------------

The wedding was as amazing as everyone thought it was going to be - my favorite part being Charlie's speech. Watching everyone dance and stare lovingly at each other warmed my heart. Making me grateful to have found people that cared so much for me.

Finishing a very awful dance on my end with Tanya, I felt a rush go through my body. Spreading from my feet all the way up to my head I stumbled back, gripping the table behind me for stability.

In an instant Emmett was by my side. "You okay little sis?" He asked wearily, carefully taking my arm and helping me to stand up straight.

"Yeah, just a little too much champagne I guess." I chuckled. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Eleazar watching as well. Carlisle had warned me that he would want to know about me due to my prevalent abilities as a human. I tried my best to avoid him, steering clear of him all night. I already despised them, I didn't want to have to discuss them with a stranger.

Sitting down I noticed Jasper making his way over. "Are you okay darlin'? Should I get Carlisle?" Worry was etched into his voice and I tried my best to emit calm vibes.

"I'm okay, really. Just got a little light headed from the champagne." He nodded, kissing my forehead and pulling me into his side.

After Edward and Bella had left it was my turn. I was going back to my house to hopefully ease the poor wolves minds about me being there in the first place. Although they finally accepted that Bella was a lost cause in the whole vampire matter, they still had some hope with me in a way. At least in the way that I wouldn't be changed anytime soon.

"Paul? I'm home!" I shouted as I unlocked the door. No response. "Paul? Jared?"

Walking through the doorway and into the kitchen I noticed the bright sticky note placed on the counter. In scribbled writing it simply stated that they were gone babysitting Jacob. Sighing, I made my way to my room to hang up my dress and then head to the bathroom for a much needed shower.

Turning it on a medium warm-hot setting I got in with a questionable moan at the relaxing feeling. Washing my hair of the spray and ridding my body of any glitter that could have found its way on me.

The heavy feeling struck me again, making me turn the heat down in case it was the steam. Leaning against the wall I saw the swirls of dark red mixing with the water down the drain. Immediately checking my legs I saw nothing.

Running my hands across the rest of my body I checked for any cuts or scratches I could have obtained between the Cullen's and home. Surely if I had been hurt at their house one of the many vampires would have noticed.

Nope, nothing. Reaching up finally I felt the thick drops fall. Blood came falling from my nose quickly, making me woozy. Turning off the water and grabbing my towel I reached for anything to make it stop but felt a weight on my body and black spots clouded my vision. Just before I made it to my bed it all went black.
