My lungs felt heavy - as if they were full of air yet constricting at the same time. Blood boiling, heart racing, wishing for the feeling to go away.
You can do this, I'd chant like a mantra over and over in my head.
Breathe. In and out, in and out. Slowly and calmly. Don't draw attention and don't make a scene. Take a break and take a breather.
Don't worry them.
No decisions just actions.
Hot pools of blood and bile retching out of my throat; the trickling feeling coming out of my nose; the vertigo and cloud of fog that surrounded my brain.
Just. Keep. Pushing.
