nick had gone to work so jade was left alone, so she decided to call ansley since jade knew austin was working too.

there was a knock on the door and jade ran to the open it.
"hi! i didn't think you'd be at nick's house."
ansley stated.
jade chuckled and replied, "uh yea. i'm not staying for long though."

the two walked over to the couch and ansley turned her attention to jade, draping her arm over the couch and placing her hand on her head.
"so, tell me about you and nick. i haven't heard back since the club." ansley smiled.
"well, we stayed in the day after the club. it was cute, we didn't do much but watch movies and order food as well as cute couple things. then yesterday, we went on a date just going around la."

ansley furrowed her eyebrows, "so you guys are dating?"
jade shook her head but still had a smile on her face as nick was still on her mind.
"are you guys anything?"
"we both had hickies the day after the club but he stopped what we were doing because we were both drinking. we kissed and we've told each other our feelings."

ansley gave her a small grin, "this sounds like we're in eighth grade. c'mon let's pay your man a visit."
"b-but.."
"no buts." ansley held out her hand and jade rolled her eyes before grabbing it.

ansley drove to the ever so familiar building, jade didn't want to see brandon. even though she wanted answers, she didn't ever want to actually get them. they got out of the car then walked into the building, when they got into the elevator jade got anxious.

"i don't want to see brandon." her breathing got really hard.
"no, no. jade it's okay. take slow breaths in and out. we're only going to see nick."
ansley replied, helping jade slow her breathing down as the elevator reached the floor they needed to go to.

jade followed ansley to nick's office since she'd never been to his office. ansley opened the door slightly to peep in, "okay. go get your man."
jade scoffed, giving her a slight push.
she walked inside his office but he was too focused on his monitor to notice, jade walked up behind him.

"hi." she said softly, putting her hands on his shoulders.
he smiled and turned to jade, "what are you doing here?"
their lips connected and his free arm wrapped around her torso, he pulled her onto his lap. jade pulled away slowly, "i came to kinda surprise you because i got bored being alone so i invited ansley over but she was like go see your man."

nick chuckled, "so i'm your man now?"
he smiled at her and his hand cupped her cheek, she put her hand on top of his.
"are you going home after this?" she asked.
"yeah, i was just finishing up a few things until a very beautiful girl came in."
jade blushed, trying to hide her face.

"no, no. don't hide your beauty." he cooed.
"you're too much sometimes." jade replied with a smile on her face.
"well i can't help it." he smirked.
jade shook her head as nick finished up what he was working on, they sat in silence while he worked. jade admired nick's side view, a little more than she should've and nick took notice to this.

"your side profile is very attractive." she muttered.
"oh, really?" he moved her chin with his thumb and their lips interlocked once again, this one being slow yet passionate and romantic. there were sparks everywhere in jade's mind, he was the light to her darkness.

nick pulled away slowly then kissed her forehead, "i forgot to tell you that you look beautiful today."
"nick." she gushed at his cheesy compliment.
they had maintained contact while still conversing with each other, "you do things to me that i cannot comprehend words for the feelings."

as early as it is, i may be falling for him.
he's better than words, only there were no words to describe him.
only feelings and those were even harder to describe.
maybe this is my one shot.
it's maybe nick.
