Cassie's POV

I walk down the hall to the dreaded room.

Okay Cassie, just say sorry, wait...what am I saying sorry for?

I pause in the middle of the hallway.

"Cassie?" A toweled figure asks from the end of the hall.

"Hey..." I shift my weight awkwardly in hopes of short conversation.

"Hey!" He smiles wide, walking towards me with zest, "why are you just standing in the hallway?"

"I, uh, well....I actually don't know..."

He laughs a huge laugh and gives me a matching smile.

Woah, someone doesn't even need an apology.

"Well, if you have no reason for loitering, I recommend spending your time with me," he grabs my hand and pulls me towards his room.

NOOOO AT LEAST PUT ON SOME CLOTHESSSSS!

"Well you've already seen me naked, so it's fine if I change in from of you."

No! I walked in on you having a party with your right hand! That DOES NOT count as 'seeing you naked'!

I slam my eyelids shut right before he removes his towel.

"Oh come on, you've seen Kade naked!" He whines.

"No, I haven't!" I retort, keeping my eyes closed.

"Are you disappointed with that?" I feel in him moving towards me.

Please tell me you're wearing clothing.

I take steps back until I hit his bed and fall back on it.

"No, I'm good with seeing people in clothing," I gulp, "that's why you should put on some."

"I did."

I slowly peek and see him in just dress pants. Breathed a sigh of relief, I start to get off his bed.

"No, wait," he says, gently pushing me back on it.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I shove up off the bed and look in dead in the eyes, "I'm not sure if you think I'm some whore or something, but I can assure you that I am not."

I walk out of the room and back to Kade's. I see Kade sitting on the floor, cross-legged, reading.

"Cassie! How did it go?" He says, looking up from his book.

I don't say anything, I just sit down next to him and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Is something wro-"

"Shh, sing a song."

"A song?"

"Yes."

He clears his throat and starts to quietly sing:

Self-Medicate
While they sleep we let the night chase evil things away
And we're like
Animals
Homesick from shows
We gotta
Kill everything before the night
Gets wasted

I close my eyes and listen to his melodious voice travel through the lines of lyrics.

Maria's POV

"It's time to go!" I call up the stairs.

Time to meet my fucking sexy husband at this random restaurant.

I tap my silver jewel bedazzled stiletto pump on the white carpet and wait for my sons and Cassie to file down the stairs.

Cassie and Kade come down first, Cassie in a fit of giggles because of something that Kade said.
