Jo
How's the quiz?
I let my head fall onto the pillows, hoping I can toss out my worries as easy as I toss away my notes.
My head is heavy with thoughts ever since Rosa gave her a smile.
What does it mean? Does she know? Does she think I'm trying to steal Jo away?
I shake my head furiously.
But there's nothing between us.
Jo and I are friends. We just knew each other.
Can I reply?
Don't be dumb. He's your friend - it's not like you're flirting with him or anything.
Besides, you owe him.
Me
I went blank on the last number
Jo
Aw, why?
Me
Being reminded that I only had 5 mins left froze my brain apparently.
Jo
LOL! You've done your best - proud of you, student.
Me
Gee thanks, gramps.
You're not working?
Jo
On a break.
Say, do you have 'Red Nose Black Shoes'?
Me
Not sure - just ask Linda.
Jo
Too bad Post Books doesn't have a delivery service anymore
I snort, rolling to the other side of my bed. When I first met him, I didn't know he could easily crack jokes here and there.
Me
It still does on weekends actually
Jo
Great. I'll be expecting delivery this Saturday.
Me
What? Too busy?
He replies with a single ':)' and a 'see you later' before not replying anymore.
