*a week later*

Giyuu woke up at around 6 AM in a cold sweat,

He looked around their bedroom and found Y/N asleep peacefully beside him, making him sigh

His hands were shaking so bad and he felt like he was going to vomit, he didn't feel hot or sick

He just felt nervous, it took him days with the help of Rengoku, Mitsuri and Shinobu to prepare for this special day

He groaned as it was way way too early to wake up, and flopped back onto bed, he felt his eyelids giving up on him so he shut his eyes

Giyuu tried to get some more sleep, but nothing was really working. His eyelids were shut but he felt an adrenaline rush go through his veins

He smiled and gave Y/N a small kiss on the forehead, then stood up to try and shake off how sleepy he was.

He croched down and slowly opened his bedside drawer, looking over to see if Y/N's awake

His eyes twinkled and reached over for the small bag that contained Giyuu's surprise for Y/N

Finally it was the day everyone was practically waiting for

Today marks Y/N and Giyuu's 3rd anniversary of being in a relationship.

And Giyuu's going to be asking her to be his bride.

He slowly opened the bag, and peeked inside

He slowly reached into the velvet box and examined it.

He glanced over Y/N for a while, and slowly stepped outside their bedroom to get outside and get some fresh air

It was already around 6:30 AM so the sun was starting to rise, Giyuu was a night owl so it was very unusual for him to wake up extra early

As he got out of his and Y/N's household, he started to walk around trying to get the thoughts he had that was driving him insane

While he was walking around, he came across Shinobu cleaning the outside of the Butterfly Estate

"Hey Shinobu, goodmorning" He yawned and stretched his arms out

"Eh? Giyuu-san? You're awake?" She looked back at him, raising her eyebrow

"I can't sleep" He scratched the back of his head

"Hm, you're nervous, aren't you?"

"Yeah.. I'm really really nervous, that even when I stare at Y/N I can't form words out of my mouth."

The Insect Hashira laughed

"Don't worry too much, Giyuu. Everything will work out just fine."

"Thanks.."

"Well, what are you doing here at 7:30?"

"I needed to clear my head out."

"Well, you can get inside if you want." She offered
