I lean my elbows on the table, smiling warmly, hoping that I come across friendly. "Hi, I'm Jade."

"Leo." He replies shortly, not taking his eyes off his phone.

Well. That didn't go as well as planned. I feel my mouth hovering open, slightly amused by his blunt reply, almost so shocked that I'm about to comment on his rudeness when my better judgment tells me not to. I go to turn around to face Will, already forgetting the dark haired boys remark and fighting the urge to roll my eyes. But the boy in front of me shoved his phone in the front pocket of his jeans and lifts his head up to look at me. He does something I don't expected next. He sits up straighter, making it so that his broad shoulders are boxed in, his emerald eyes meeting mine, he stretches out his hand for me to take.

A hand shake? That's weirdly formal. I raise my eyebrow at him in question and see the hint of a smirk playing at his lips before it disappears. Whatever game he seems to be playing, it won't work. I eye him again curiously and then slowly stretch my arm out to meet his, letting him take me hand into his.

As soon as our hands make contact I go hot. His large hands are rough, much rough than I thought they would be, but his fingers are soft. He tightens his large hand around my fingers, I can't take my gaze off his beautiful green stare. My head is pounding lightly, the coolness of his black metal rings the only thing keeping my mind steady. I notice that he has a few tattoos etched into his skin, travelling up his arms, getting lost under the tight shirt at his large biceps.

"Leo Jordans." His dark voice says this time and I look back down at out hands still touching. I try to play it cool by shaking his hand lightly before letting go of his hand completely. I clear my throat before shifting on the bench, so I'm facing Will. God that was weird.

It's almost like I can still feel his hand in mine. Leo looks to the side of me at Will and without hesitation, a small smirk appears on his face. Will seems to tense up at my side and I look up at him now death staring Leo. Without looking away from Leo, Will puts his arm around my lower waist and pulls me closer along the bench. I can't help but feel awkward, but try and brush it off. Leo stops staring at us and I let out a breath relieved.

I turn my body to him and he dips his head down to lightly kiss my lips. He pulls back after a second against my lips and I smile up at him, leaning my head on his shoulder, now listening to Eli's and Naomi's conversation. The talking slowly stops as one of the camp leaders takes the stage. A young guy, about in his twenties, stands in the centre of the stage and begins to speak loading into a microphone. He goes over safety rules, normal camp procedures and activity schedules. Even though his voice is echoing in the large hall, I blank him out easily, a skill I practice during boring lessons at school. My mind wanders back to the feeling of Leo's hand on mine. It was something I have never experienced before, it was a completely different feeling to Will's touch.

I glance over at Leo. He has that kind of face that's would stop you dead in your tracks, a face you have to look a twice to make sure he is real. His features are heavily defined, a sharp jaw line and bright eyes. His top hugs tightly to his muscular arms. His brows are dark and straight, arching slightly towards the end. He wears bands of black metal around his fingers. His lips are firm but reasonable in size, my mind wonders to how his lips would feel against mine. I have to physically shake my head to get rid of the thought.

I can't stop staring at him. He is so gorgeous. I'm snapped out of my dream like trance as I feel someone tug on the sleeve of my top. My eyes meet the person who interrupted my day dreaming and I'm met with ocean blue eyes looking back down at me. The camp leader has finished his talk and everyone is getting up from their seats and leaving the hall.

I swing my legs to the other side of the bench, but before I can speak, Will grabs me by both hands and pulls me off the seat. My legs leave the floor as he wraps his arms around my back, twirling us in a circle, his warm laugh making me smile. I squeal, taken by surprise and hit him playfully on the chest, telling him to put me down.

Once my feet are safe on the ground again, I look up at him, his handsome face grinning back down at me. I stand on my tiptoes and lightly place a kiss on his lips, feeling warm as he presses back against me momentarily. "Get a room." Someone shouts from behind us and I pull away from him, looking for the source of the rude comment. Not to my surprise, it's Naomi standing a few paces away, her arms crossed over her chest as she dramatically rolls her eyes.

Standing next to her, is Eli holding a finger up to his mouth pretending to gag. I flip them off using one hand and grab Will's hand with the other, lacing my fingers with his, he smiles down at me. "Come on, this is boring." Jax whines, before tugging on Alison's arm like a small child who's gotten bored after five minutes of their parent talking to a friend at the store. Alison looks at his hand placed on her arm and I see a light pink tint cover her cheeks before she quickly shrugs him off, telling him to stop complaining.

"I second that." Naomi agrees, before turning on her heel, flicking her hair over her shoulder and following the crowd of people as they walk towards the exit.

"Always so dramatic," Eli mumbles under his breath as he watches his best friend almost strut in her 6-inch heels, through the hurd made up of eight year olds who are leaving the hall.

"Come on Ali." He says then to Alison who's trying to hold back a laugh, as she twirls her necklace between her forefinger and thumb.

She holds out her hand for the best dressed boy in this camp and he takes it grinning, both of them following Naomi, out into the shining sun that awaits for us outside. "Wait for me!" Jax shouts after a moment, only now realising that he's been left behind, he runs after the others.
