"You can't tell me you feel nothing towards me." His voice is a mixture between hurt and confusion and it stops me dead in my tracks.

This is what I wanted so badly to avoid.

My feelings.

That phrase makes me sick. I turn around to face him, my eyes still glossy with tears. "No Leo, I can't."

I feel the pent up emotions that I feel for this boy take over, "Every single time I see you my heart starts racing, every time you make laugh, I feel alive." I bite down on my bottom lip.

It shouldn't be like that.

I step forward towards him, my frustration seeping out of me uncontrollably.

"There's this stupid feeling inside of me that makes me need to be around you and it won't fucking go away." My voice breaks as I shout, tears now falling freely down my face.

"I don't know why but every time I'm around you it feels like I physically can't breath. Every time you look at me I feel like I'm the only person in the room." A laugh slips out uncontrollably, my hands start to shake.

He looks completely baffled.

I think I'm actually going crazy.

"Something inside me tells me to drop everything I have and get to know you. A big part of me truly believe that you can change, that you're not who everyone says you are."

He looks at me, his jaw set hard, his eyes blazing.

"Every time I'm around you, it's like nothing else matters. And I hate it." I cry.

He just shakes his head like he's trying to force the words out of his ears.

"I hate it because I like it." My voice drops to a whisper and his head snaps up to meet my eye.

"Jade-"

I don't let him lie to my any further, "Leo I don't know why I feel this way, but I need it to stop." I pathetically beg, the tears making my vision blurry.

"It has to stop." I whisper.

His dark face looks angered, his perfect jaw set hard. His dark green eyes show no emotion as they search my face, trying to make sense of what I'm saying.

I want him so badly to tell me I'm being crazy, that all these feeling don't mean anything, that he was lying all along and he doesn't want me.

That would make everything so much easier.

He shakes his head frustratedly, trying to ignore my words. He doesn't speak, but I see him clenching his fists tightly.

"Leo." I beg. He just shakes his head, not answering, trying to get away from me.

He turns away from me and his hands go to his hair and he pulls on it, making me feel sick.

I flinch as he shouts, "Fuck!" He starts pacing up and down, his hands still tugging on his roots, and I know he's hurting himself.

"Leo stop." I cry, my voice hoarse, as I beg the boy in font of my to stop inflicting more pain than I already have.

He ignores me as he carries on pulling his hair, pacing up and down as he mutters to himself, his eyes fixed on the floor.

He stops suddenly, his head snapping up so his blood shot eyes meet mine. He strides towards me and before I can stop him - he grabs me by the shoulders and starts to physically shake me, as though it's going to change my mind.
