I excuse myself from the group and make my way through the drunken teens, to where Leo walked through a few seconds earlier.

I have to dodge a guy who tries to grab me and a separate girl who whistles at me whilst twirling a strand of dark hair around her finger.

I put my hand on the thick wood of an oak tree as I step over a fallen branch. I take a few steps further and then stop when I realise what's happening.

The smell hits me before I see them.

I walk around another tree and I see a group of guys sitting in a circle on the dirt floor. The red headed girl is sitting on a tree trunk, rolling a small piece of paper.

I have to bite my lip to stop myself from sighing from relief. I would much rather find Leo doing this, than doing what I thought he was.

Leo is sitting with another guy talking about something, but he doesn't see me. I take a step closer and the sound of my footstep makes his head snaps up.

His green eyes meet mine and I loose my breath.

God, I hate the effect he has on me.

I smile lightly as he panicky looks around him, seeing that I've found his group of friends and the not so legal things he gets up to.

I decide not to stand here like a lemon and walk to where the blonde he's talking to is sitting. The guy looks up at me with dark brown eyes and they go wide as he scans my body.

I hold out my hand, "You going to help me sit down or just stare?" I raise my eyebrows and the guy grins up at me, the splint between his teeth giving off a trail of smoke.

He takes my hand and I see Leo almost flinch. I let the mysterious blonde pull me down and I sit with my legs crossed underneath me.

"I'm Sam." He hands the splint to Leo without taking his eyes off me and I swear I see Leo's hand twitch as he takes it from him.

Sam. Huh, I didn't expect that.

"You're Sam." I feel my mouth turn up into a smile.

"You know me?" He raises his eyebrows and now that I look at him I can definitely see him with Eli.

"I may have heard some things." I see Leo sit forward but ignore it, "Jade Harlow." I reply politely, my eyes tracing over him.

The light muscles can be seen underneath his band top. His dirty blond hair is slightly curly at the ends.

He's definitely attractive, but he's no Leo Jordans.

My eyes move off Sam and back to Leo. His piercing eyes on me, fuelled by a certain anger. The splint in between his lips as he watches me.

I have never found guys smoking attractive, but looking at Leo with a lit joint between his lips, I have never wanted to try one more.

I decide I want to disregard any innocence I have left and hold out my hand. Leo raises his eyebrows at me as if to say 'yeah right.'

"Leo." I say sternly and something flashes across his eyes before his mouth turns up into a smirk.

He moves his hand to take the splint from his lips and blows out a breath of grey smoke, it curls up into his nose before exiting out his mouth.

His mischievous green eyes are locked with mine and I bite my lip to stop myself from backing down.

With his other hand he parts my middle and forefinger and places the splint between them. He then closes my fingers around the piece of paper, all while looking up at me with intrigued eyes.
