Come get her - Rae Sremmurd

The dark haired boy is standing on the far side of the bank, the same group as from lunch around him, his black hoodie and black jeans made it hard for me to notice him at first.

His arm looped around the waist of the same blonde girl from earlier, this time she's wearing a tiny white dress, that is low cut, showing off her cleavage. She's wearing a pair of pink heels that would definitely snap my ankles if I tried walking in them, but she's still much shorter than Leo.

He's looking away from the group, his eyes wonder around the party, an unbothered, and definitely bored look across his face. The girl is deep in conversation with one of her friends, flicking her platinum blonde hair over her shoulder, every now and then, almost hitting Leo in the face which causes him to taunt his jaw, annoyed.

He moves the bottle of beer he's drinking to his lips, his eyes scanning the groups of people, his brows furrowed slightly, as though he's looking for someone. However, he doesn't notice me looking at him.

He also doesn't notice that I'm walking right towards him.

The warm alcohol gives me a boost of confidence and a sudden rush of adrenaline takes over. My ears prick up, as the music plays a familiar song, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips as the words drift through the night air. 'Somebody come get her. She's dancing like a stroller."

I walk over to where Leo and his date are standing and as I approach him, his green eyes meet mine. I think I imagine it, as he stands up slightly taller, his arm dropping from the girl almost instinctively. I'm now standing in front of them, the girl looks me and up and down and then smiles sweetly. "Hi, I'm Jade, one of Leo's friends. I just wanted to introduce myself." I say, smiling at the girl, she takes another moment to look at me and then replies.

"Kennedy." Her perfect white teeth shine at me from behind a fake smile. I feel Leo's eyes on me, silent but suspicious, trying to figure out what I'm doing.

"I absolutely love you dress, it looks so gorgeous on you." I say truthfully, it does make her look stunning. A look of frustration crosses Leo's face, annoyed that I'm being so nice to his new play date.

"Aw thank you sweetie, mummy bought it for my seventeenth." Kennedy replies, her eyes bright with pride. I hear Leo make a sound that almost sounds like a snicker, I advert my eyes from her to Leo and find that he's trying to keep in a laugh. A girl from behind me calls out to Kennedy, telling her to join their group. Kennedy looks back at me, "Sorry got to go, it was nice meeting you." She smiles sweetly, but her eyes tell me something different.

She looks away from me and up at Leo, but he keeps his eyes on me. "Call me." She says up at him giggling and then turns to join the girl who called her over. I take a swig of my drink raising my eyebrows at Leo who just rolls his eyes.

"I see that you met a new friend," I start quietly, "she seems nice." I smile, not entirely meaning it, keeping my tone cool as I look up at him.

Leo just goes quite in reply, his green eyes look distant as he breaks eye contact. I can tell that something is bothering him. "I see that you're not staying away from me." He says, his dark voice making me nervous.

"Kind of hard when you seem to be everywhere," I sigh, looking back over at Kennedy, who's now taking a selfie with two of her friends. I turn my head back over my shoulder and loose my breath as he seems to be a step closer to me, his eyes staring into mine, a few inches between us.

His dark eyes flicker with something, as he raises his eyebrows smirking. "You jealous Jade?" He taunts, his husky voice making my lower stomach heat up. Jealous? Is he being serious? I'm not sure whether it's the alcohol talking, or the fact that I don't take shit from assholes like Leo, but I get an idea that makes me smile.

I place my hands either side of his strong arms, my nails curling around his biceps lightly. His eyes go to my hands on him, his lips slightly parted as his gaze flicks back up to meet mine. I run the tips of my fingers along his defined muscles, sighing as I look up at him through my eyelashes. He searches my eyes and I can see the questions on his tongue forming, but before he can ask anything, I stand on my tiptoes and lean into him. My mouth is inches away from his ear, my soft breath on his skin as I whisper. "For you?" The words roll off my tongue easily and I feel him tense up beneath me. I smile as I feel his breathing getting heavier, the slight twitch of his hand by his side sending electricity between us. He sways slightly, trying so hard to keep himself up. Keeping my voice as low, I smirk, "Never." I step back from him, dropping my hand from him and allowing the heat between us to disappear.

He blinks once and then twice, as he's can't tell if he's just imagined the whole thing or not, before clearing his throat and looking away. The smug look on his face wiped off, his hair slightly sticking up in places, his eyes turning dark. It takes him a few seconds before he smirks, his normal cockiness returning. "Sure." His green eyes move away from mine and I watch as his jaw hardens, the moonlight making his skin look soft.

"When did you meet her then?" I ask lightly, referring to the girl from earlier. He takes a swig from his bottle, the bitter scent mixing with his dark cologne makes me slightly dizzy. I have to dig my nails into my hand to stop my heart beat from racing.

"Right after you left." He says, his eyes still not melting mine, his face set with something I can't quite make out.

"Fair enough." I say, trying to mask the new found jealousy in my voice, "I noticed you didn't eat anything at lunch, are you okay?" I ask, trying to move the conversation away from me and him, to something more friendly.

I try to keep my eyes off him, not finding any luck when the only other thing to look at is drunk teenagers falling over, or couples sucking each other's face's off.

I'm drawn back to Leo when he steps forward towards me, my breathing stops when he slips his arm around my lower waist and forces me again his chest. Only a few inches between my face and his, I lean back, looking up at him as he towers over me, my legs feeling weak and small. He leans down to whisper in my ear, the same way that I did to him just a few moment before.

Somebody come get her.

"I was too tired to eat," his voice is heavy against my ear, sending shivers down my spine. His grip around my waist tightening, my lower stomach pressed up against the front of his jeans and I think my mind stops working.

She's feeling all the liquor.

"Kennedy made me go two rounds."

I step back suddenly, my cheeks burning red and my finger nails digging deeper into my flesh, causing me to wince. I feel physically sick as images of him in bed with another girl flash in my mind.

A smirk plays on his face as I try to regain my composure, feeling my skin start to prickle. I take a deep breath to lower my heart beat but it doesn't help when he carries on.

"It's fine though," he eyes me carefully, "you got me worked up earlier, so I found it easy." He's clearly proud of himself and I feel like I'm actually going to throw up.

I'm about to scold him or probably say something I'll regret later, but I'm saved by the bell. I hear someone calling my name from behind me, I turn around and see Naomi walking towards me, almost tripping as she steps off the dock onto the grass.

Oh god. She's hammered.
