They way he said those few words makes something inside me ignite.
I smile and jump off the counter, taking a step towards where Leo is sitting. His eyes widen as I lean my hands either side of him and I can see him stop breathing as I bite my lip.
I stand on my tip toes and very slowly, I move towards him. He goes ridged underneath me as I lean into his ear.
My breath is hot on his skin as he physically shivers, "I know." I whisper before suddenly stepping away from him and turning around, making my way back to the sinks.
I hear his head hit the wall as he leans back sighing deeply, I glance over my shoulder quickly and almost stop breathing as I see him.
His head against the wall, his eyes closed tightly, jaw firmly tensed. I smirk and turn back around, my now heart racing.
I work on the plates again this time in peace, a few minutes pass me and I look over my shoulder to check on Leo, but find he's not there. Hopefully he just wondered off and is somewhere around here. If he actually left I'm going to kill him.
I don't hear him come up behind me and before I can do anything I feel two hands either side of me, pining me against the cold mental of the sink.
His hot breath on my neck as his head rests on my shoulder, his hard chest up against my back, keeping me from moving.
"I'm bored." The warmth of his body makes my insides swirl, his dark cologne making my head swarm.
"I thought you left me." I laugh softly, not trusting myself to turn around to face him.
"I would never leave you." He sounds hurt and my eyebrows furrow confused. Why would he say something like that?
"I like it when you're angry." He says changing the subject. My heart races, what is he talking about?
"What?" My voice is almost a whisper, my throat dry.
"When you pushed the blonde into the lake." He confirms and I let out a shaky breath, dropping my head.
I chuckle, "That was a one time thing." It's not something I actually planned on doing, but it was fun.
"It was so hot seeing you fight over me."
I scoff. Asshole.
I turn around to face him, narrowing my eyes as I speak, "We weren't fighting over you." I point my finger at his chest and his eyes go straight to my touch on him.
He looks back up at me surprised and I keep my voice stern, "She took what was mine and I wanted it back. Simple."
He raises his eyebrows smirking, "You sure you're talking about your dress?"
His arrogance makes me sick. I roll my eyes and push him backwards off of me. He laughs and thankfully doesn't argue, instead going to sit on the metal counter behind me.
I turn back to the sink and start to rinse off the plates, working to scrub them and then place them in the empty sink to dry. Leo leaves me in peace for the next half an hour as I finish up and wash down the sink. Washing and drying my hands, I'm about to call Leo's name when he appears behind me.
Something about his mannerism tells me he's up to no good. "What are you doing?" I chuckle not bothering to turn around to look at him. I hear him sit back on the counter and my brows furrow as I hear the opening of a container.
I whip around to see him opening two large tubs of ice-cream and two spoons lying next to him. My eyes go wide as he smiles wickedly at me, "Leo you are going to get us in trouble." I hiss, looking around the kitchen to see if anyone is going to catch us.
"Jade loosen up a little." He says cockily as he dives a spoon into the tub filled with strawberry ice-cream. I watch as he puts the spoon into his mouth and internally groan as he swivels the metal with his hand as he keeps his eyes on me.
I can only imagine what his mouth can do.
I'm broken out of my evil thoughts when he speaks, "You want some or not?"
I roll my eyes and whisper, "Dickhead," as I push myself up onto the counter next to him. He shakes his head smiling and hands me a spoon, I turn so I'm sitting opposite him and cross my legs underneath me.
Opening the chocolate ice cream I dip into it and put the spoon into my mouth. I smile as the sweet ice-cream hits my tongue and feel Leo watching me.
"Good?" His dark voice asks and I nod my head. We sit for the next few minutes in a comfortable silence eating the cold ice-cream.
Me every now and then catching him staring as I lick clean the spoon.
In return, I watch as he moves the metal to and from his mouth. His strong hands lined with prominent veins, the tanned skin making his bruised knuckles look tough.
For the first time since I've met him I really see his tattoos, the crown on his middle finger and a series of numbers on the side of his left hand. A small black rose on his wrist along with some others.
"How did you get those?" I motion my head towards his ink and he follows my eyes. He sits up slightly and his fingers run over the dark symbols.
"My brother did them for me." He says simply and I raise my eyebrows. My parents would kill me if I got a tattoo, well my dad at least.
"Your mum let you?" I ask my eyes wide.
It must have been the wrong thing to say as he goes quiet, his jaw hardening as he places the spoon down.
"I don't have a mum." He answers. Oh.
"My dad doesn't give a shit about what I do anyway, so I figured why not." He shrugs and I can tell he's trying to move the conversation away from his mother.
"I'm sorry." I say quietly and his eyes flick up to meet mine, something behind them before he looks away.
"Well I think they're pretty cool." I smile softly, hoping to make it less awkward. He chuckles softly and my chest tightens.
"Which one's your favourite?" I ask leaning forward, trying to get a better look at his hands.
He smirks, his eyes dangerously playful.
He turns his hand towards me and before I can stop him he's dropped all fingers other than the one with the crown tattoo.
Leaving his middle finger up, showing me the ink, he smirks.
"This one."
