Jade's POV
It's been a week since I've seen Leo.
Seven whole days.
The first day I just sat in my room debating whether to go find him to work this out.
I decided that he's a fully grown male and that he should sort himself out before we can carry on doing what we were doing.
The second day I just cried.
I put so much trust in this boy that I've know for less than a month. I put so much of my emotion out there, I showed him all the cards in my hand.
I told him things I've never told him before, he acted like I was the only person in the world he could be real with.
And then he just changed.
The third day I went out to breakfast, the girls haven't asked any questions other than whether I was okay.
Naomi suggested punching Leo for me and I just forced out a laugh and said thanks, but that's probably a bad idea.
On the forth day Hunter came to find me to apologise.
He said that he had been having feelings for me for about a year now.
He's having trouble at home, so his head was all over the place.
I told him that I was sorry not realising it, we decided it would be better to stay friends.
He told me how truely sorry he was for making a move without my consent. I forgave him, whether that be because I could use a friend right now.
Or because I just wanted a boy to hold me.
We hugged for a couple minutes but it didn't make me feel any better.
Because it wasn't him.
We then spent the day talking down by the lake. He told me about his parents that were splitting up and how he felt unable to help his mum.
So he thought when me and Will split up, he could be there for me instead.
The fifth and six day were a blur.
Breakfast and talking and sitting by the lake and lunch and swimming and dinner. A numb pain ran through my body as I smiled and talked to my friends, pretending I was okay.
That night I sat on the dock watching the stars, as silent tears fell down my cheeks.
I must have cried my self to sleep there, as I woke up this morning with a neck ache, on the warm wood.
This morning is the seventh day I've been without Leo.
I showered and brushed my teeth, putting my hair in a loose bun I didn't bother with makeup today. I slowly picked up his black hoodie that he gave me on the night Will cheated on me.
I didn't have a chance to give it back.
I bring it to my nose and almost sob when I take in a deep breath of his dark cologne. I missed the way he smells.
Breakfast went by quickly and I spent the morning sitting in the woods by myself. More specifically in mine and Leo's special spot.
I decided that today I'm going to find him.
I'm not loosing the one person who makes me feel alive. Whatever he's fighting inside his head, I want to let him know that I will wait.
I will be there for him no matter what.
I pace around the camp, looking inside the barn, going down to the lake, stopping inside the kitchens. He's not anywhere.
I walk out the kitchen door and walk straight into someone.
