Chapter 68

Leo's POV

I've never found girls smoking attractive.

I didn't think she would take the splint from me, let alone take two drags. The first one sent her into a coughing fit which made me smile.

It reminded me of my first time smoking weed. I was fourteen, in my parents basement with my older brother and his friends. That was the first time I smoked with my brother.

And the last.

The second drag made me hard instantly.

The way her prefect lips took the splint, the way her slim fingers, that have probably been inside her many times, held it to her.

Her chest moving up as she took in a deep breath. The way I could see the smoke entering her lungs. The way her eyes fluttered shut, her long eyelashes brushing her flawless skin.

The sound she made as she released the smoke, a mixture between a moan and a sigh. I couldn't sit there any longer.

I grabbed her without a second to think and I almost came as I pushed her against a tree.

The way she giggled from the high as she asked me what I was doing, I could feel my groan aching. I could feel my member throbbing.

Only Jade could do that to me.

I chose a tree a few meters away from the group, if we decided to do something, no one would be able to see. However, they would definitely be able to hear.

I definitely wouldn't take her virginity, especially not up against a tree.

I stopped breathing as she slipped her hands under my shirt, her warm touch making me weak. And she doesn't even need to touch me to get me dripping.

And when she rolled her eyes I snapped. My hand grabbed her throat before I could stop myself. The way my fingers felt wrapped around her soft skin almost send me over the edge.

In that moment I wanted to do so many bad things to her. If only Will had taken her virginity.

No. That would be worse. Wouldn't it?

When she said those words, then do them. Oh god. I almost lost it.

I was inches away from her lips when we were interrupted. I could have punched a hole in the tree I was that pissed.

I didn't move. I couldn't move. I couldn't let her go once again, let her slip through my hands. And then she lightly pushed me off.

But it's okay, she still wants me.

I watched as she followed boy-toy number two, away from me and into the trees. My hands went to my hair and tugged frustratedly.

I should have wrapped her legs around me, stuck my middle finger up at him and kissed her with everything I have.

I wanted to. So badly.

They've been gone ten minutes now and I'm getting impatient.

I shove past a drunk guy who's looking at me funny and have to dodge a blonde who's asking for my number. I slip behind a tree and scan the area trying to find Jade.

My eyes stop searching as I catch sight of the back of her head. She looks so good in all black. Her tight jeans cling to her small waist and curvy back.

The small cropped top allows me to see her perfect skin, her gorgeous collarbone was to smooth for me not to put my lips around it.

I wanted to touch more of her and then he ruined it.

Fucking wanker.

I lean up against a tree as I watch them talk, Jade looks over her shoulder but doesn't see me. I pull my phone out of my pocket and check my messages. I see one from dad but can't be bothered to check it.

I look up for a second and almost drop my phone when I see his hands on her waist.

I slip my phone in my pocket before pushing myself off the tree I'm leaning on and take a step forward. I step on a twig and curse when it snaps loudly.

Still hidden behind the trees, I move closer to them, so that I have a clear view. He leans down closer to her and I feel my skin prick as she doesn't move away.

He says something else and I all I can hear her say is I'm still a virgin.

Meaning, I'm still available.

I'm about to turn around to go back to the party and find a different girl when my heart stops. He presses his lips against hers and I feel a pain I've never felt before.

I don't move. I don't speak. I don't breath.

She kisses him and I just stand here like an idiot. I can't take my eyes off them as their mouths push up against each other.

I don't feel like myself as I watch them have their first kiss.

The same girl that was with my what feels like moments ago. In the hands of another guy. Of a guy she's known for years, years longer than she's known me.

And then she's staring right at me.

Her grey eyes so confused, so conflicted, so gorgeous.

I can't feel the pain anymore, I just feel numb.

And then, like anyone I've ever cared about in my life, I leave.
