Aahana's POV
I could hear a lot of people talking but couldn't comprehend what they were saying. They were speaking in a different language, more like a difficult one.
Wait! Running, goons, blood, water, river, death? Am I dead? Oh, then maybe I'm in hell or heaven, ohh, then people must be speaking sanskrit here. But in Gita it's written that souls do not feel any pain so why am I feeling immense pain in my body? If I'm dead, I must've abandoned my body. Okay, now this is confusing. Help me oh Mahadev!
Author's POV
The raj vaidya soon came out and everyone was now fully alert. First of all, the vaidya greeted Maharani Rukmini and then turned to everyone else to answer their questions.
"How is the girl vaidya ji?" asked a worried rani Kunti.
"My queen, the girl is gravely injured. Her body is completely tired. Looks like she has not eaten anything since days and the was running for too long as her legs are the most hurt. She is very serious. And I am scared to say this but...."
"But what vaidya ji?" the always calm and steady Yudhishthir was uneasy for some weird reason. Maybe out of pity. He thought.
"That she will never wake up."
This sentence of of raj vaidya made everyone gasp in shock and worry.
"I have assigned my best helpers for her but I am not sure if she will be able to make it."
"She will make it!" came a firm yet beautiful voice of none other than the ever charming rajkumari Subhadra.
"I and bhabhishree Rukmini would like to take her responsibility and we ensure you that she will be fine in no time." she said with a secretive smile and glance towards her bhabhi (sister in law)
"Won't you help me bhabhishree?" she said mischievously, just like her brother.
"Of course my dear Subhadra." devi Rukmini answered in the same tone.
The family members were a little at relief as they believed their daughters.
Soon both the divine girls entered the chambers of the gravely injured girl. They sadly smiled looking at the pale and weak girl on the bed. The poor girl has to face a lot to fulfill her responsibility.
I need to have a word with you my dear brother. Subhadra told her brother in mind in a warning tone.
You are sleeping on the couch for the rest of the week and no butter for you for the same this time. I'm really upset. Devi Rukmini threatened her husband for treating the poor girl in such a way.
Looks like even the lord of the universe has to face the wrath of his wife and sister. Women!!
Both of them walked towards the bed and sat on the opposite sides of her bed. The helpers greeted the two royal ladies with respect. The ladies greeted back and focused back on the girl laid on the bed.
