Yudhishthir's POV
Can someone stop the time for once? Can I tamper the kaal chakra like my wife did? Can I swap places with her?
I stood there rooted to the ground as she looked at me confused. Her face was pale and tired due to fever but she was beautiful as ever. Okay, not the time for this.
As soon as I came out shock, I ran towards her. I held her shoulders in a haste and the bowl of kheer fell from her hands.
"Did..did you eat the kheer?" I asked her not wanting to know the answer.
"Putra, what happened? Is everything okay?" I heard maa ask but I was looking at my confused wife.
"Umm.....ya, Bheem asked me to taste it." She said literally stopping my heart.
"Jyesht, this kheer is indeed poisoned." Sahadev said after he examined the kheer. I heard maa gasp audibly but I was too shocked to react. Will I loose her? I noticed her eyes tearing up after listening to Sahadev and her watery eyes met mine. Fear was evident in her eyes. Not the fear of death but the fear of separation.
"Nakul, Sahadev do something. Get some herbs and treat bhabhi as soon as possible." I heard fear laden voice of Bheem.
"But till now the poison should have acted. Bhabhi, are you immune to some poison or something?" Nakul said. This caught both of our attention. There was still a little hope.
"No, I'm not." She said in a timid voice.
"Are you sure bhabhi you are not feeling anything? Like any kind of uneasiness or something?" Sahadev asked expectedly.
"No, I'm all fine." She answered.
"How is this possible?" Arjun asked shocked.
"Putra, it's all god's grace. But what happened?" Maa said and I sighed. I just pulled her to my chest. My heart beating wildly. I heard everyone talking and narrating the mishaps here but my focus was on her. I almost lost her.
"Are you okay?" I whispered only for her to hear.
"I don't know how but I'm fine." She was weak, her voice gave out the tiredness she felt. I kissed her head and broke the hug.
"We should escape before the whole palace burns down to ashes." I said now being my calm self. She indeed is my calm.
"Yudhishthir is right. We need to vacant this palace as soon as possible." Jyesht said. I went for maa but Arjun said.
"We are there for maa. You be with bhabhi. She is still shocked and weak." I nodded and grabbed Aahana's hand. She was still shocked and confused.
I followed everyone with Aahana towards the main door. Arjun and jyesht were supporting maa. She was shook.
As soon as Bheem opened the door, I bent down covering Aahana from the fire that made it's way inside. Arjun and jyesht did the same with maa. They burnt the palace!
