Aahana's POV

It's been two days since we came here. When we came here, I felt like home. But now, I feel suffocated here. Someone is always around me. I know I am upset by past events but that doesn't mean that I need baby sitting. I am a grown woman who can take care of herself. Though no one talked about the miscarriage but the way they behaved was irritating me to no end. I tried staying calm but failed miserably.

"Jiji, can I go for a walk please?" I asked jiji who was talking to me. I don't know about what but she was.

"Oh sure, come let's go together." She said and I mentally scoffed.

"Jiji, will you mind if I go alone. I need sometime alone, don't mind. I'll spend time with you later. I promise." She sighed but smiled.

"Sure. But do tell me if you need something. Don't stress yourself." She said and I gave her a tight lipped smile.

I wrapped a shawl around myself and moved out. The weather in Dwaraka is pleasant. I walked barefoot in the grass. Everyone here treats me like I am a crippled child who can't do anything on her own. It was fine till day one but now it's frustrating. It's like everyone is pitying on me and I hate that feeling. Just behaving normal with me would do the job I guess.

I sighed as I kept walking. Suddenly I heard two dasis talking. It was not my intention to eavesdrop but I heard my name in the conversation and hence couldn't stop myself.

"Rajkumari Aahana suffered a miscarriage. Poor her, it was her first child." The first dasi said.

"I know. You know what, I think that she is cursed. I mean first she was abandoned near the river. Then as soon as she got married to rajkumar Yudhishthir, he was attacked and nearly killed. Then her whole family almost died in Varnavrat. And now her miscarriage. She has only brought bad omen to maharaj Pandu's family." The other one said and I sighed.

Ladies and gossips, I swear.

"No no, don't say like that. She is very sweet." The first one said

"Really? Then why no one has told about Rani Revati's pregnancy to her?"
My eyes widened. Her words acted like salt on my wounds. Why everyone hid bhabhishree's pregnancy from me?

"Maybe because it would upset her?" The first one said and I huffed. That's not a reason.

"No you foolish, I'll tell you. Because her jealousy and her bad omen will affect Rani Revati and her baby. I think now she is just a liability that's why everyone came here instead of going to Hastinapur. They will leave her here only. Poor rajkumar Yudhishthir, he got married to her. Now he will have to marry again. I can't believe that sister of Dwarakadheesh Krishna is such a bad omen. After all, she is not his real sister." The dasi said as both of them laughed.

I clutched my saree tightly. The thing that pierced my heart was that no one told me about Revati bhabhi's pregnancy. I quickly went towards my room.
