Aahana's POV
I didn't know what to do? Should I jump due to excitement? Should I scream at the top of my lungs? Is this real? Someone pinch me already.
"Aahana, take them inside. They must be tired. As soon as Bheem comes with fruits, we'll call you. Until then, provide them with whatever is available." Arya said and I nodded.
"Please come in." I said politely and both of them followed me in. I was having a hard time suppressing my laughter and excitement.
As soon as we shut the door, I hugged bhaiya tightly and jumped in happiness."You came! You came! Oh my god, I can't believe it." I said as my happiness knew no bounds. I don't know why but just looking at him solves all my problems and inner turmoils.
"Now, whoever it is, be it Narayan or any human, they can't refuse when someone calls them with a pure heart." I heard bhaiya and I parted. A tear escaped my eye.
"I thought you won't come. I'm seeing you both after my wedding. It's been so long." I realized how much I've missed them.
"But its more like you are seeing him. You didn't spare a glance at me. You are a liar, you only missed him." We heard dau whine as he had his hands crossed over his chest. I and bhaiya looked at each other and laughed.
"Dau, you know you are my favorite. Right?" I told him as I moved towards him. He again huffed and mumbled 'liar' under his breath.
"Dau, I'm sorry. I love you." I said wrapping my hands around him. He looked at me and his shoulders slumped.
"I can't ignore this puppy face of yours now." He said as he hugged me back.
"God, I missed you so much. Dwaraka is not Dwaraka without you." He said emotionally and I sighed.
"Even I miss you guys a lot dau. I can't wait to tell you what all happened. I know you both know everything but still, I want to let it out."
"I am left alone." Bhaiya said as he joined the hug. He did it deliberately to lighten the atmosphere.
"Now now, come sit. We have a lot to talk." I said breaking the hug. They both nodded and sat on the hay that laid on the floor. I just grabbed whatever was available here to offer them i.e. some fruits that we picked yesterday and a glass of water.
"Technically, you are visiting me for the first time after my wedding and I should offer you a lot of things. But I only have this much for now. I'm sorry." I could hear the melancholy in my own voice.
"Oho, what can be better than this? This is straight from nature. Also, dau is getting fat day by day. He needs to control his appetite." Bhaiya joked.
"Kanha!" Dau said sternly making me laugh. I kept the fruits and water in front of them and sat down.
"Start." I said.
