Parang matutunaw ako at how soft and warm this little body inside my arms. It reminds me of how gentle I should be. Of how it is to be careful in handling such fragile body.

Fucks! She's really so cute. The eyes and the shape of her face are what I love the most about her.

A tear escaped the sides of my eyes nang iangat nito yung maliit na kamay nito para hawakan yung kamay ko. Pagkatapos ay nakapikit na bumuka yung labi niyon. There's no words. But heck! Who needs words? I felt love and acceptance. Just with that simple gesture. This kid is really as sweet as her Mom for sure.

"Gosh! Sobrang cute. Kamukhang kamukha mo."

"You think so?" Hindi lumilingon na tanong ko kay Alliston.

Nakatitig pa din ako sa mukha niyon. I'm trying to suppress my emotions. Goodness, nakakawala ng pagkapoise ito. Maybe this is exactly the feeling that Alice had when she first held her first born at naabutan namin ito na umiiyak pa talaga.

Now, I am holding mine. A baby Silva that will make the difference in our bloodline.

"Yep. Pero sana yung ugali nakuha kay Jen."

Napangiti naman ako sa dinagdag na iyon ni Alliston.

I really hope so. I want our baby to be as soft and as gentle as Jen. Yung maging kasing bait nito. I just can't imagine kung magiging kagaya ito ng normal na bloodline namin. Tiyak na tatanda talaga ako agad.

Inabot ko yung baby namin ni Jen kay Alli. Tapos ay hinalikan ko sa noo si Jen. She's laying on the hospital bed. She just gave birth to our baby.

"Where's Candice?" Tanong ni Jen sakin nang mapansin na kami lang ni Alli yung nandito sa loob.

"She's outside. Sammie doesn't want us to overcrowd you. The rest of the girls are outside too." I lied.

Actually, wala pa si Candice. But I don't want Jen to worry about it.

"You can go with the girls." Paalala pa nito.

Ngayon kasi yung birthday ni Sammie. And it is expected na lahat kami ay nandoon. Part na din kasi kami ng yearly toast. We've been doing it ever since.

"Babalik din ako agad after ng yearly toast. Just for the sake of Callaghan's family tradition and of course, ours as well."

"C'mon, Don't rush. Nandito naman si Candice to look after me. I won't get bored with her."

Hinawakan ko yung kamay ni Jen at masuyong hinalikan iyon isa-isa. We've been through a lot. And now, she's giving me the best gift as I am granting her wish.

"Tell Sammie that I love her and Happy Birthday."

"She's still doing her rounds here. It's as if she's excited too on her birthday. She's getting old." Pabirong sabi ko na ikinangiti nito. We both know Sam doesn't like birthdays.

Kanina ay dumaan na si Sammie dito para icheck ito kaso tulog naman nga ito.

"I love you, Grant."

Napangiti naman ako. I am staring at that pair of weak pale coal eyes that's staring at me lovingly.

To the angel who pulled me out of my hatred and anger. To the one who is always saving me. To my one and only princess. But now that we already have our own, mukhang kailangan na yatang ilevel up into a queen.

"I love you too, Princess. Ember surely got your eyes. And the contour of your face."

Pumikit naman si Jen na napapangiti. Ilang minuto lang ay nakatulog na ulit ito.
