"I like Grant."

Napatigil ako sa pagbaba sa yacht ni Hariette sa sinabi nya.

"I know."

"But I promised Railey that I won't screw up a friend's ex. So I won't." Sabi pa nito.

Napalingon ako sa kanya. She's putting her hands on the back pocket of her jeans. Tapos ay ngumiti sakin.

Hariette and I don't even have a good friendship either. I mean, we just flocked together because of the kidnapping incident na nangyari samin. But eradicating that factor, there will be no other force that can draw us together.

There are two people that both connect us together, Grant and Alliston. Without those two, I won't even see myself hanging around with her. Sure, she's cool to be with. But she's deadly. Her image isn't complimenting with mine.

"If you really like Grant, do me a favor then. Take her away from me."

"I'd love to." Hariette agreed on me. "It's just, Alli won't let me. But you know what kind of a snake Grant is. She might crawl my bed one of these days, ikaw din. You better keep your eyes on her."

Natawa na lang ako dito. If there's one thing I'm sure that Grant won't do to annoy me, it is bedding Hariette. So I'm confident na kahit landiin pa nito si Grant at Grant's weakest state, that woman won't crawl on her bed. Kahit siguro takutin pa nito na papatayin nito o haluan pa nito ng aphrodisiac yung pagkain ni Grant. Grant just won't do it.

"Set your facts straight, you may be the one crawling Grant's bed."

Lumapit pa ako sa kanya. I don't care if she's taller than me. She's 5'10 and I may be the smallest in our team by standing at 5'5 height.

"Grant won't bed you Hariette. Accept it. That's the only vow she won't break to me. She'll get everyone on her bed to satisfy her fun but you."

I caught how Hariette clenched her hands.

"Are you going to hit me?" Hinawakan ko pa yung kamay nya. "Weird. You just can't right? Grant will skin you alive. While Alliston will feed you to the sharks. That's a shame."

"Bitch!"

Umiling lang ako dito. "No. You're a bitch." Tinapik ko pa yung kamay nya. "You know back then that we had something but you continued on seducing her. That's really pathetic, girl. Give yourself some worth. Grant is not even worth chasing for."

"If you hurt her again, I'll hunt you." banta pa nito.

I held her stare. Is she glaring at me? Hindi pa din ba sya nakakamove on sa babaeng iyon?

"Look, I don't care about Grant. You can take her if you want. Please spare me of the drama."

"Now that she got rid of your boy toy?"

"She killed my boyfriend. Yet you're still chasing her. You must be one of her sacred follower. It's hard to buy loyalty and honesty nowadays. Why don't you apply as her assistant? You surely fit the role."

"You're being nasty now, Jen." komento nito na nawala na yung inis kanina. She's back to being her old self.

"Just tell it to me Hariette. Are you a friend or not?" diretsang tanong ko na dito. I don't think I can afford another heated fight pa. Katatapos ko lang makipagtalo kay Alliston kanina.

"I'm your friend, of course."

"Okay. That's settle then. Take care. "

Akmang bababa na ako nang hablutin ako nito. Marahan akong niyakap ni Hariette. Nagulat ako dahil doon. I thought she's really a bitch though.
