"Elmo will you stop fidgeting?" saway sa akin ni Ate Ynna. "Ano bang problema mo ha?" tanong niya.
"Huh? Wala. Wala. Ano... Saan ba yung cr dito?"
"Yun lang pala. Paglabas mo ng auditorium, kaliwa ka. Sa may canteen may comfort room dun. Tsaka can you buy something for Lexine? Bilan mo ng juice. I forgot her water bottle sa bahay eh."
"Sige." sabi ko saka na tumayo and went out of the auditorium.
"Sasapakin na talaga kita!" narinig kong sigaw ng isang babae.
Sumulyap ako but wasn't able to see who it was. Nagkibit-balikat na lang ako saka na pumasok ng cr. After that, I walked to the canteen to buy Lexine's drink. Luminga ako and nakitang may dalawang babaeng nag-uusap sa isang sulok. Magkaharap sila at nakita ko ang kunot-noong itsura ng isang babae. Maybe they're teachers since they're both wearing the same shirts as the teachers in the auditorium. The teacher facing me looked shocked as she eats pasta while the other one whose back is facing me seems to be the one telling the story.
"Anong sayo, pogi?" I was startled when the canteen staff spoke.
"Ah. Isa pong mineral water and also isang Chuckie." I said. Tumango siya and gave me what I wanted.
"Sukli mo oh." she said.
"Thank you po."
I walked slowly as I watched the two teachers talking. Ewan ko. There's just something in them na hindi ko maalis ang tingin ko. As I near the exit ay tsaka sumagi sa utak ko kung bakit. That ponytail. That sexy neck. That body. I think I know who the other teacher is. Pero I can't be too sure. Baka kaitsura niya lang or something.
"No. It's not her." I told myself. "Pero I also saw her kaninang pagpasok ko sa auditorium." I added. Lumingon ako uli sa dalawang teacher and they're still engrossed with their conversation. Baka hindi siya yung nakita ko. Maybe I'm just daydreaming dahil sa sobrang pag-iisip ko sa kanya.
I walked back to the auditorium and sat next to Ate Ynna.
"Tagal mo. Nauuhaw na si Lexine." she said.
"Sorry. Medyo naligaw pa ko eh." palusot ko. "Here's your Chuckie, princess."
"Thank you ninong. Did you see me dance? Teacher Barbie and Teacher Julie taught us the steps eh." she said.
"Yes and you were good ha? Mana ka kay ninong." kindat ko. She giggled as she drinks her chocolate milk. Si ate naman napapailing na lang. "Ate, hanggang what time yung program?" tanong ko.
"I don't know eh. Pero Lexine wants to stay until the teachers' performance." aniya. "Aalis ka ba?" tanong niya pa.
"No naman. I was just asking kung hanggang what time." I said.
"Ah okay." aniya saka na nagbalik ng tingin sa stage. I think the grade 1 students are the performers already. "By the way, have you seen Lexine's teacher? Kanina pa siya hinahanap ni Lexine eh."
"Uhm no? Ano bang itsura niya?"
"Well, she's pretty. She's almost the same height as me pero matangkad siya ng konti. Hm... I think nakaponytail siya eh. Di mo ba siya naabutan? Siya yung nagintroduce kanila Lexine eh."
"Si Anne?" I asked.
"Who the hell is Anne? Elmo her name is Julie." she said. "Pati pangalan ng mga babae mo dinadawit mo dito."
"Huh? Tss. Hindi. Hindi ko pa nakikita." I said.
"Ninong, you should see my teacher. She's very pretty like me!" nakangising sabi ni Lexine.
