Chapter 51
It's been weeks since our fight. Bumalik na kami sa dati ni Julie. And I think we became stronger now. Hindi na kami agad nagpapaniwala sa mga bagay na hindi naman totoo. May tiwala kami sa isa't isa at alam namin na oo, may times that we would fight and times that we may even think of giving up pero it's all part of our relationship. Hindi magiging healthy yun kung walang challenges.
"Hun, paabot naman nung glue please?" pakiusap ni Julie.
Andito ako sa kanila ngayon and we're helping Harry with his project sa school.
"K-Kuya Elmo ganda no?" he said as he points at the collage they're making.
"Yes, Harry. Pogi mo dito ah! Sinong kumuha nito?" I asked, pointing at one of his shots. He laughed at me as he points his finger towards me.
"I-ikaw kumuha niyan eh. Y-yan yung picture ko nung birthday ko. Alala mo? Y-yung dinala mo si H-Harry sa E-Enchanted Kingdom? Diba? S-sumakay tayo dun sa rollercoaster d-diba?!" excited na kwento niya.
"Yes. I remember that. Tapos umiyak ka pa nun kasi diba di tayo nakaulit sa Air Race?"
"H-Hindi umiyak si Harry nun! L-loko mo ko k-kuya ha?" he laughed.
"Hahahaha. Just kidding buddy." I said and even ruffled his hair.
"Ouch!" I heard Julie cried. I looked at her and saw her finger bleeding.
"Baby what happened?!" I asked, concerned.
"Ha? De wala." she said as she tries to hide her finger from me.
"Julie Anne..." I said, sternly. "Show me your finger."
"Elmo wag kang OA. Wala to!" she said, still hiding her hand. "Malayo sa bituka okay?"
"Still..." I insisted and grabbed her hand. I saw a long cut on her forefinger and it was bleeding.
"Hoy! Ano bang ginagawa mo?!" she asked as she tries to slap me.
"Stop moving! I'm sucking the blood out." I said.
"Langya! Ano ka bampira?!" she asked. I didn't answer her and just sucked the blood out.
"Julie, when I was in elementary, I was part of the Boys' Scouts okay? We were taught that sucking the blood out would help decrease it's pain. And isa pa, to help it stop from bleeding."
"Yeah right. Titigil kasi ubos na yung dugo. Ang OA mo, Magalona. Papercut lang yun." she rolled her eyes at me. I just laughed as I ruffled her hair and went to her room to get the first aid kit. I went back to join her and placed a band-aid on her cut and kissed her forehead.
"Will you just stop whining ang just say thanks, hun? Hahaha." I snickered.
"Ulol." irap nanaman niya.
"Love you more." I laughed before I faced Harry again who is busy playing with his clay sculptures.
"Harry mamaya ka na maglaro. Maligo ka muna para makakain ka na at makatulog." Ninang Maricar said.
"O-opo." Harry replied and went to his room.
"Elmo, dito ka na maghapunan ha? Nagluto ako ng ulam." Ninang said to me.
"Nang, kahit di mo sabihan yan, dito talaga kakain yan. Self-proclaimed part of the family na yan eh." I heard Julie said. I looked at her and she just smiled sarcastically at me. I stifled a laugh as I sit closer to her. "Nginingisi mo?"
"Wala. Bakit ang sungit mo? Meron ka?" I teased.
"Wala. Check mo pa?" she teased back.
"Now na? Hahahaha."
