A few years has passed and I'm now four years old today was a great day you could say it was my birthday since I'm now four the orphanage that watched over me had just kicked me out and I had just escaped a group of drunken civilians who wanted to beat and torture possibly even kill me, you see October tenth my birthday is also the anniversary I the kyubis defeat as well as the destruction that was caused so while people celebrated some took this opportunity to get revenge. Much to do over the years that I spent basically locked in a room I had practiced chakra control and exercised. With the wall paper I stripped from the wall I practiced the leaf sticking exercise. And later went to tree walking by using the wall and ceiling. When not doing that I would constantly do push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, running in place, weightlifting by using my worn down futon, and yoga. Easy feat as the caretakers were all chunin level ninja who had retired with the head mistress being low jonin level before this job. So I had learned how to cloak my chakra and to walk and run silently. Since one was a inuzuka I had also learned how to hide my scent by suppressing my pheromones. That was easily the hardest thing I learned. Basically I'm mildly able to control the chemicals my body releases scent wise and I plan on expanding that ability further. I also realized that because of the ninetails influence on my body I have stronger hearing, sense of smell, and night vision, and I also have natural better instincts more akin to a experienced wild predator than a four year old boy who has never fought. Through experience I am really good sensing any sign of killing intent or malice , and the ability to tell if someone is trustworthy or not by initial impression however that doesn't factor in if someone undergoes a change of mind. So I'm pretty good at reading people.

My most impressive ability so far though is something that wound up coming natural thanks to my uzumaki genetics I'm a natural sensory type. I'm guessing the original naruto had it as well given instances like him sensing zabuza and throwing a kunai at him which he substituted with that white rabbit, my prediction is naruto never realized it and therefore never trained in it. I. I now naruto had the extra chakra and vitality from the uzumaki blood so that means if I have those three then it's highly possible I may also have chakra chains, but that's far from now before I can even attempt it.

To escape the mobs of people I entered fenced off Forrest that was further from the village I recognized it as the Forrest of death. I'm gonna stay here for awhile to practice jumping from tree to tree, blending into nature and survival.  It going to be hard but I'll manage to do it. I wandered until I found a stream, that's when I feel multiple presences with killing intent. I looked around to see I'm surrounded by enormous tigers that were at least ten foot tall they saw me as easy prey so they casually strut forwards. Knowing this is do or die I summon all my anger and I feel a powerful heat and rage go through me I see I'm surrounded by red chakra I then decided to amp it up by releasing predator like pheromones. I then with a rage filled voice roared at the tigers, they were overwhelmed and retreated in fear of their lives, that was the last time in the Forrest anything attempted to target me.

Six months have gone by and I have gotten adapted to survival, hunting, maneuvering at high speed through trees, I'm also amazing at stealth and setting up traps. One night while i was sitting by the fire cooking some stew with the meat from a wild boar and vegetables I've foraged. I felt a familiar presence that I haven't felt since the night of my birth.

Naruto " you can come out mister I can sense your chakra, and it's quite comforting."

Hiruzen " it's quite impressive that a boy your age can sense me, it's nice to meet you my name is hiruzen sarutobi and I just so happened to come through the Forrest and stumble upon you may I know your name?"

Naruto " my name is naruto uzumaki it's nice to meet you old man, however your not a good liar I can tell that you were probably looking for me. I mean the only people I've seen come here are those ninjas with mask who come to train, though they will often take their masks off when they are confident they are alone. I've seen them do cool things with their chakra and tried to do it myself. So why are you looking for a monster like me?"

This seemed to shock him

Hiruzen " what do you mean a monster, all I see I a innocent little boy?"

He questioned cautiously

Naruto " people always call me a demon or a monster and wind up hurting me that's why I came here to get away. But thinking about it I figured out that with the date of my birth, the hatred I get and my earliest memories of a huge fox. I believe that the  kyubi is inside of me....... so I understand if you hate me to lord Hokage "

Now he was absolutely caught off guard and took a moment to think.

Hiruzen " first and foremost I don't have any negative thoughts or feelings toward you in the slightest, to me you are a hero that is keeping us safe from the worlds greatest beast. The fact you figured that out shows me you are a genius. But what do you mean you remember a big fox ? "

Naruto " since it's you I think it's ok to tell, after all I remember you and what you said to me, I was testing you just now. I remember my birth and everything about it including who my parents are and them dying........ i them remember you coming and picking me up and comforting me when I was sad. I remember what you told me. I figured the fact that I'm treated like this is because my heritage is being kept a secret, my dad was a powerful man so he must have had a lot of enemies. But you were there so I feel I can trust you, besides I remember your chakra."

I put my finger on his cheek and put chakra through it.

He mind was blown.

Hiruzen " (under his breath) minato your kid is truly a one of a kind genius. ( normally) well naruto your I'm glad you didn't share that information it is highly secret for now until you become at least a chunin if you become a ninja, if you remain a civilian it will be made public when you turn eighteen. Listen their are  people who exist who would want you nothing more than just your power, and with the people who have problems with you because of the ninetails they will go to the extreme if they find out about your intelligence. So I'm going to entrust you with this mission, play down your intelligence so we can avoid that problem, and make some connections, you don't need many but they need to be reliable. When the time comes I let you drop the fake personality parts. I'll let you decide on what you want to be, besides it's more effective if you put some real parts of your self into it. As hokage I may be the most powerful in the village, but I can be overruled therefore I want to make sure your safe. I want you to keep the ninetails a secret until your at least a genin or twelve years old, as for your heritage we will go with the original plan of chunin and or eighteen till it can be revealed.
I will pass a law that prohibits People from harming you. I originally thought that the law that prevented people from publicly sharing the information of your tenant, and outright banning them from telling children would be enough guess I was wrong, unfortunately I can't force people to be kind to you."

We sat and talked for hours. On this day three important things happened.

-I found myself a surrogate grandfather
-I decided to not only become the hokage but also the greatest  ninja ever, so I could protect the loved ones I make.
- this was the day I debuted to the world as the number one knucklehead.
