"A sent this letter to my mom", Aria sighed out loud, evidently upset. Avery placed a comforting hand on Arias arm before taking the letter from the shorter brunette.

"You know it's not your fault, right?", Emily comforted Aria,"It's your dad's mistake."

"Totally."

Aria insisted,"No, it is my fault-"

"You did not hook up with her and then ask your kid to cover for you", Spencer shot in a stern voice.

"Ali said I should've told my mom right after it happened"

"Ali?", Avery furrowed her eyebrows as the others exchanged glances ,"Alison knew?"

"Yeah. She was with me when we saw Meredith."

"Meredith? Her name's Meredith?", Hanna remarked in disbelief,"Ew. That's not a cute girl name. I'm seeing big pores and mousy roots."

Emily lightly shook her head, "Han, I think it's a little too soon to joke."

"I'm sorry. But if you're gonna cheat, do it with someone who deep conditions her hair."

"Here",Spencer interjected, tossing a bagel at Hanna,"put something in your mouth besides your foot."

"I'm sorry, okay? Look, all I'm saying is that when my dad left, laughing sometimes helped. So did crying."

"My father hasn't left, guys. I mean, this happened over a year ago", Aria exclaimed before looking down,"You think he's gonna leave?"

"Look, whatever happens, we're here for you", Emily reassured the small brunette who was almost at the verge of tears.

"Thank you, guys, for staying here", Spencer interjected, changing the topic,"I couldn't have been here alone."

"When's your family getting back?", Avery questioned, shoving a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.

"This afternoon."

"Aren't you gonna clean off the mirror?", Aria asked with wide eyes. They almost forgot about the message on the mirror.

"Want me to come with?", Avery asked noticing the girls' hestistance.

"We should all go"

"You know what? It doesn't take four to clean a mirror", Hanna grinned leisurely eating her bagel,"so why don't you three go and I'll just wait here?"

"Fine. Okay. You stay down here. Alone", Avery nodded, emphasizing on the 'alone'.

"But make sure you lock the door", quipped Aria.

Hanna quickly got up from her chair,"Right. You spray. I'll wipe."

The girls snickered, seeing that Hanna reacted exactly the way the expected her to. They were making their way up the stairs, when Avery's phone pinged, followed by the others'.
