A month had passed since the last trap A had set for them. There punishment was that they had to do community service, in a horrendous orange jumpsuit.

The girls watched as five little girls played on the merry-go-round, singing a song about liars and trouble. Was that purely coincidental? I think not.

"Only an hour and thirty minutes to go", Hanna sighed looking at her watch.

"I think it's more like two hours, but who's counting?", Emily retorted.

Two women stood beside them, snickering to themselves.

"How many hours you got left?"

"Six months."

"But your momma is not a lawyer for getting you and you pals community service for tampering with evidence."

"I thought you said they killed somebody."

"That's what the cops think, but the cops can't prove it."

"Cops are stupid."

The girls silently listened to the conversation, the point of which was to obviously mock them. Interrupting the women, Emily snapped, "We didn't do anything."

"Don't talk to them", Spencer advised.

"I'll talk to anybody I want to."

"No, you won't."

Emily scoffed, "And who's gonna stop me?"

"Both of you just shut up!", Avery yelled, as Aria added, "I don't want to hear it any more."

Emily ignores the two brunettes and faced Spencer, "Did you at least think about my idea?"

"It was a bad idea when they arrested us, it's a bad idea now", Spencer shook her head.

"We finally have something solid. Why won't you use it?"

"Because you can't make a deal with a rattlesnake."

"You can if you have something the rattlesnake wants."

Hanna shuddered, looking up from the trash she was picking, "Can we stop talking about snakes?"

"Listen to me", Spencer stated authoritatively, "We're not going to be making any kind of a deal with A. That's final."

"Maybe for you", Emily chuckled sarcastically, "The rest of us don't have lawyers for parents or policemen for brothers." The three girls, along with the two woman watched with wide eyes, as they sensed a battle brewing between Spencer and Emily.

"Meaning what?", Avery crossed her arms.

"Meaning her mom may have gotten us a deal, but if they ever figure out a way to charge us for killing Ali, she'll throw the rest of us under the bus to save her. Same goes for your brother. And the funny thing is that,", Emily rolled her eyes before turning back towards Spencer, " you'd let her."
