"We're giving him all of it? $2,000 is a lot of money!", Emily exclaimed incredulously, as the five girls stood in the hallways.
"Emily, if he can finally tell me who A is, I would hand over a million.", Aria scoffed, as Avery added, "Yeah, and not ask for change."
"How'd you get the money so fast?", Hanna asked an absentminded Spencer, who shook her head, breaking her train of thought, "What? Um, I have a relative."
"Which one?"
"I promised that I wouldn't say."
"But $2000-", Emily began and Avery cut her off, "We'll pay it back if it wasn't worth it, Em"
"What time did Jonah say to meet him?", Hanna enquired.
"Six, but, um, look, not all of us are gonna go. It's just me, Avery and Spencer, so we'll meet up with you afterwards."
"Why just you three?", Emily raised an eyebrow.
"Because Aria's the face that he knows, and Spencer's the bank", Avery said in a 'duh' tone. She was partially the 'money' too, but she couldn't tell the girls, since Spencer and her didn't have any relative in common. Well, at least not that they knew off. Who knows how many secret siblings Spencer had besides Jason.
"And-?", Hanna raised an eyebrow at Avery.
Aria shrugged, "It was her idea and she was whining about going. Look, If we crowd around him, he's gonna think something's up."
"Something is up. We're finally gonna find out who's been torturing us since Ali's funeral, and, hello, I kind of wanna be there for that", Hanna rolled her eyes.
Spencer noticed Mona approaching them, and signaled them to shush. Mona smiled awkwardly before turning towards Avery and Hanna, "Um, Avery, Hanna, can I borrow you for a sec?"
Nodding in response, the two girls walked away from their friends for privacy, "What's up?"
"Can you drive this afternoon, to the mall? I thought I had wheels, but my mom-"
"Wait, that's today?", Avery's eyes widened. Mona, her and Hanna had been hanging out for sometime, and amidst the whole 'Vivian' ordeal, she forgot the commitment she had made. It looked like Hanna forgot too.
"Yes! You said you were gonna help me tonight to pick out something for this party. Please don't bail on me", Mona sighed, when she saw Hanna and Avery's guilty faces, "What's the deal? Did something more important suddenly pop up?"
"No, no", Hanna shook her head, "It's just my mom wants me home tonight. Could we do it tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow is about the accessories. Forget it", Mona huffed.
"I'm sorry, Mona. I totally spaced", Avery facepalmed.
"Hey, what about after school? Or skip Bio after lunch?", Hanna suggested. Mona nodded reluctantly.
