Chapter 39

*peep.. peep..*

Screw this traffic! Hay. I'm off to Daddy Leo's mansion. Kailangan ko gawin yung promise ko. Usapan lunch time ako pupunta 30 minutes nalang 'til 11:30AM. Ganyan ang oras ng lunch time sa kanila so does in the company.

"Yes!" Ang sigaw ko nang makita kong umandar ang mga kotse sa harap ko. I still have a chance to get there before 11:30AM. Mga 15 minutes lang ang byahe pag nakaandar na ako.

Like what I've said, 15 minutes nga lang at nakarating na ako. I called daddy Leo as I got in front of their house. Dalawang ring lang at, sinagot niya kagad.  "Hi dad. I'm here already."Ang maligayang panimula ko.

"Thank God you're here! Kanina ka pa hinihintay ni mommy Lara mo. Wait at susunduin ka namin." And he hang up.

Wala pang 2 minutes ay nakita ko na sila sa labas. "Hija!" Ang sigaw ni mommy Lara. "Namiss kita." Ang dugtong niya as she kissed me.

"I miss you more mommy!" And kissed her back.

"Hija, meron tayong bisita. Balita ko he's one of the big fish in business industry and balita ko rin nag hahanap sila ng partnership dito sa Pilipinas. And kilala mo naman ako, gusto ko palaging una sa akin ang mga ganyang offer." Ang sabi niya. Tama naman siya, Mr. Leo Clark is a one of the best business competitor in the business industry. Kaya bilib ako sa taong 'to.

"I know dad. Kaya nga, naka-ready na kagad ako. Haha." I said, showing all the papers of the company.

"That's why I love you hija! My son is so lucky to have you! Anyway, he will be here any minute now. Be ready. He's going to have lunch with us." What? Ngayon na talaga? We'll I can't argue with this. Wala pa akong kain I hope it's going to work.

"Okay, dad." I smile. "Dad, where's mom?" Ang dugtong ko.

"Well, in her office where she does her thing. Haha." Mommy Lara loves cooking kaya bihira silang lumabas at kumain because they have the best chef here in the house.

"Hahaha. Okay, dad. I'm just going to help her there. Bye!" I put my things down to the couch and walk towards the kitchen.

One thing I love about this family is they always make you feel welcomed and loved not just to those people who's something to do with their son like me but to all the people they met. The cool thing here is they never get fooled by strangers. Beside of being nice they are also wise. That's why I'm so lucky to have a chance to be part of the Clark family.

"Hi mom! Can I help?" Ang tanong ko kay mommy as I taste one of the muffins she bake. "Oh my God, I missed this! You still got it right mom." Ang sabi ko.

"Hahaha. Bolera. Sorry if I can't entertain you right now hija. You know naman, I don't really like going out just to eat. I want to be the one who'll make it." Ang sabi niya. Most of the time talaga, si dad Leo ang nag e-entertain sa akin pag nag dito ako. While her, making us the best food that fits to our mood. And that's a kind of wife that every man should have. Since I'm going to be her son's wife soon, I want to be devoted to cooking also because Laxies might crave for his mother's presence.

"It's okay mom. I understand you!" I hug her.

"Thank you, hija. I really love you so much! You're a blessing to this family. Dati, I feel sad for Laxies because he doesn't have siblings like the other kids but I thank God for his best friends that doesn't have siblings too that always stick with him through thick and thin and now, he have you also. God is really great! You guys are blessings and I feel so blessed to have you guys." Ang sabi ni mom. She's so nice! Wala ka talagang masasabi sa family nila.

"You deserve to be blessed mom. Napakabait niyo ni daddy Leo. Halos lahat ata ng kabaitan sinalo niyo. Haha. I feel so blessed to be part of your family too." Ang sabi ko.
