Quinton's P.O.V
I was currently out with Blake just exploring old buildings and messing around. I couldn't stop thinking about Bryce and the kiss. After the kiss we sort of just stared at each other and one thing led to another and he asked me to be his boyfriend. I obviously said yes and then we drove home flirting with each other the whole time. I didn't know he liked me and I certainly hadn't stopped liking him. I thought it was one sided the whole time but I guess not. We decided not to tell Jaden and Blake yet because I wasn't ready and Bryce thought it might hurt Jaden or make him sad over his own relationship.

"Quinton get your head out of the clouds I'm taking to you." I snapped back into reality and looked at Blake who was a few paces ahead, staring at me with his eyebrows raised.

"Sorry." I said and jogged up to him. "What were you saying?"

"I was just talking about how we're actually pretty far from home right now." He said. We were on the fourth floor of a car park building somewhere across the city from our house.

"We have plenty time to get back." I said.

"I just don't want a repeat of the other day."

"Definitely not." We got to the other side and climbed onto the ledge. I looked down at the floor and immediately regretted it. "We're pretty high up." I stated.

"Yeah but It's not that far of a jump, we can make it." Blake said looking over at the roof of the building next to us. I looked at him as if he was crazy.

"I'm sorry what? Jump?!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, c'mon we've climbed buildings it's just the same but, down." He sounded a little unsure at the end.

"Yeah just the same except breaking a few bones!" I said with fake cheeriness.

"Its not that far." Blake said still trying to convince me.

"Well too bad I'm not jumping." I said crossing my arms like an upset toddler and jumping of the ledge back into the safety of the car park.

"I am." He said.

"Wha-" I started but Blake jumped before I could finish. I rushed to the edge and leaned over, I let out a sigh of relief when I realised he hadn't fallen to his death.

"See, easy." He said dusting his hands off.

"I hate you." I said reluctantly climbing up onto the ledge for the second time. I took a deep breath, bouncing on the balls of my feet trying to pretend the ground wasn't fifty feet below.

"I'll catch you if you fall." Blake said and I laughed nervously. I took a step back on the edge and then I pushed all the death thoughts to the back of my head and jumped. I was in the air for about to seconds before my feet hit solid ground again. I looked at Blake and he was grinning.

"Any broken bones?" He said. I glared at him playfully and laughed.

"I can't believe I just did that." I laughed.

"Me eithe-"

"What was that." I said cutting Blake off. He stared at me in confusion.

"What was what?" I ignored him and ran to the other side of this building and crouched at the edge peering over into the glass roof of the warehouse below. "Quinton what the hell are you talking about." Blake said crouching next to me.

"Shh." I said staring harder, the roof was hard to see through since it was reflecting the sky so I couldn't really see through it but then I heard it again. Voices. Human voices.

"Was that..." Blake said staring in shock at the warehouse.

"I think... I think there's people in there." I said staring at blake. He stared back and then I laughed in disbelief and so did he and soon we were just laughing in pure shock that we had found other real people that were alive and breathing and not trying to eat us.
