Anthony's P.O.V
I woke up some time in the morning because the sun was shining onto my face through the curtains. I lay there for a few minutes trying to fall back asleep but it wasn't working. So I removed Josh's arms from my waist carefully, not wanting to wake him, and climbed off the bed. I stretched my arms above my head and got dressed for the day.

"Anthony." I heard Josh mumble from behind me.

"Morning." I chuckled and went back to sit on the bed next to him.

"I love you." He said and kissed me.

"I love you too." I said after we broke apart. He sat up properly and kissed me again but this time it was more rushed and less gentle. He moved from my lips and started to kiss down my neck but I pulled away before he could go any further.

"I can't I'm sorry." I said. "I-I." I stuttered a sudden rush of emotions coming over me and making me choke up my words.

"Hey hey no it's okay it's me that should be sorry." Josh said quickly grabbing my face and looking me in the eyes. "I shouldn't have done that I know how you feel about it without him. I just thought that maybe since it's been a year..."

"W-What? You think he's dead?" I said getting of the bed and staring at Josh accusingly.

"No no not at all! Look I'm sorry I miss him too." He said getting of the bed and pulling me into a hug. That was the breaking point for me and I clung to him sobbing into his chest.

"I m-miss him so much Josh. Why did they take him from u-us?" I cried.

"I know I know, me too." Josh murmured while he rubbed up and down my back trying to calm me down. We stood there for a few minutes before I calmed down fully. I pulled away and he wiped my eyes. I looked up at his face and saw tear tracks on his face too.

Josh had been so strong the whole time, taking care of me but I knew it was hard for him too but he tried not to show it. Words really can't describe how much I love him and I'm so grateful he's been there with me this whole time.

"What are we doing today?" I asked.

"Griffin told me that Noah, Kio and him were going to try and find food and other things throughout the city, but I wanted to set some traps and try and catch some animals or something." Josh said.

"Can I come?" I asked.

"I was hoping you'd say that it's pretty boring doing it myself." He smiled and I smiled back.

He got dressed and we walked into the kitchen of the house. This house was slightly bigger than the last and it was a lot nicer too. I found a price of paper on the table and picked it up.

'Noah, Griffin and I left to get supplies don't do anything stupid while we're gone.

I showed the note to Josh and he read it and nodded. He then went to the basement and came back out with some rope and other things that looked useful but I didn't know the names of.

"Let's go then." He said putting the things in a bag. He took my hand and we walked out of the house and into the street. The others had taken the car and we could always take another one left on the street but most were too old and rusty to use plus I didn't know how to hotwire a car and neither did josh so we stuck to walking.

We walked around parts of the city and every so often we stopped to set up a trap and then moved on.

We were currently walking through a main road street with shops on either side of us. I stopped when I spotted a record store.
