(I felt like posting a double update because I already had it written so why not you know.)
Jaden's P.O.V
The wind rushed through my hair as I drove along the road. I was singing along to the music that was blasting from the stereo inside the car. One of my hands was on the steering wheel and the other was hanging out the open window. Blake sat to my right and Bryce and Quinton were in the car behind us. We were currently taking both the cars to refuel them at an old gas station.I reached over and turned the music down a little bit. I squinted my eyes to look in the rearview mirror to see Bryce and Quinton in the front seats of their car. Somethings different about them. I'm not sure what it is but they seem closer, I mean they were always close but something changed recently and now they act different around Blake and I.
"Hey Blake?" I said. He hummed signalling for me to go on.
"Have you noticed anything different about Quinton and Bryce lately?" I asked. He frowned and thought for a minute.
"No... not really?" He sounded a little unsure. "Why?"
"It's just ever since they came back from that supply trip they've been acting different around us and each other." I said.
"Well Quinton was daydreaming and zoning out a lot yesterday." Blake said slowly still thinking. "I didn't really ask him about it though but it's definitely unusual for him."
"Yeah Bryce seemed kinda the same yesterday too."
"What do you think it is." Blake asked.
"Well... don't tell him I told you but way back on that night Quinton told me something." I started.
"What did he tell you?" Blake asked.
"I was gonna tell you before you interrupted me." I said and he smiled sheepishly. "He told me he liked Bryce."
"Really?" Blake's eyes widened. "But-"
"Bryce was with Addison at the time I know, and I thought he lost feelings after a few months since Bryce wasn't really getting over Addison and nothing seemed to have happened between them, but judging from my own relationship-" I paused and Blake gave me a sympathetic look. "J-Judging from my own relationship and others, they act pretty similar."
"Why haven't they told us yet?" Blake questioned.
"Maybe they aren't ready or maybe they nothings even happened and we're just seeing this all wrong, I don't know" I said.
"Maybe." Blake mumbled.
Shortly after that we arrived at the gas station and I parked the car and we got out. Bryce parked next to me and Quinton and him got out too. Quinton grabbed a pump and started filling the car and I did the same to my car.
"Blake and I will clear out the store, make sure there's no zombies inside." Bryce said, he started walking towards the dingy little shop and Blake followed. They entered through the broken glass window at the front and disappeared from view.
I turned to Quinton and looked at him.
"What?" He said.
"Did you..." I said but trailed off.
"Did I what?"
"Did you say anything to Bryce?" I asked. Something flashed across his eyes but it was gone as fast as it appeared.
"About what?" He asked trying to hide the fact he knew what I was talking about.
"About your feelings." I sighed. He stiffened and then quickly tried to cover it up by leaning against the car.
