Griffin's P.O.V
The streets were so full of people going about their day. None of them were smiling and they were all moving fast and avoiding all eye contact. They weren't interested in me or the others at all and probably didn't notice how out of place we looked.

Freya and Jacob has said to look for the central tower and it wasn't hard because it stretched high into the sky in the centre of the city. We picked our way through the streets and crowds trying not to loose each other in the process.

It took longer than I thought but we made it eventually and stood looking up in awe at the perfectly intact glass building. There were many people heading in and out of the front doors. Much like the people on the streets, they completely ignored us.

We walked in through the glass doors and into the cleanest, nicest looking interior I'd seen in a long while. I hadn't much clue what we were supposed to be looking for, all I knew is that we had to find someone who would listen to us and not shoot us right on the spot when we told them one of us had been bitten.

I spotted something that resembled a front desk and walked up to it the others followed behind.

"Umm hello?" I said awkwardly. The woman sitting behind the desk looked at each one of us judginly and then back to me.

"If you're looking for help you've come to the wrong place. The information building is-" she started in a monotone voice.

"No actually we wanted to speak to someone in charge." I said because I wasn't really sure who exactly we needed to speak to.

"Everyone who works here is very busy. You'll have to book an appointment." The woman said and turned back to her computer seemingly done with the conversation.

"It's important." I tried.

"It can't be more important than-" the woman was clearly getting irritated.

"-We have a cure." Quinton butted in. I gave him a 'why did you say that' look and he dismissed me and stepped up to the desk.

"We have a cure and we're not lying. I want to see someone in charge please." He said staring down at the woman.

She narrowed her eyes at him and then picked up her phone. She dialled a number and waited a moment with the phone to her ear. The person on the other end picked up and she started talking to them. We waited for her to finish and then looked at her expectantly when she put the phone down.

"Go to floor 20, office 16. There will be someone waiting for you." She said.

"Thank you." Quinton smiled fakely at her and then skipped over to the elevator. He pressed the button and it opened. We got in and Noah pressed the little 20 button and it lit up. The elevator lurched to life and started moving upward.

"Haven't been in one of these for a while." Kio mumbled.

"I know. It's probably all going to take a while to get used to." I said.

The elevator dinged and the doors opened slowly to reveal a long, quiet, grey carpeted corridor. We all stepped out and walked past the doors until we got to door 16.

"This is it." I said before turning the handle and opening it without knocking. It opened to reveal a man with his back to us staring out a wide window that had a large view of the city below. He turned around and smiled when he saw us. He was old looking with grey hair and square framed glasses. He was wearing a typical white lab coat so I assumed he must be one of the scientists.

"Hello please take a seat." He said and gestured to the multiple couches around a small glass table. We all sat down quietly and waited for him to take a seat at his desk.
