Griffin's P.O.V
We all froze as a hooded figure pressed a gun to the back of Noah's head. Nobody heard him coming but he must have been hidden upstairs. It all made sense now, the fresh zombie bodies and empty house. I wonder if this guy had any other people with him.

I didn't have to wait long before my question was answered because two more people came downstairs, like the first they were all dressed entirely in black and I couldn't see their faces.

A noise of glass shattering came from the back of the houses and I turned my head to look and saw three more figures approaching, guns raised at us. We were outnumbered and surrounded.

"I said don't move." The first guy snarled and I quickly turned my head back.

"What's taking so long?!" One of the guys who came from upstairs shouted over his shoulder.

"Nothin'" a voice yelled from outside followed by the sound of car doors slamming and feet scuffing on the gravel as the person outside approached. Two of the people moved to let them in and they walked in dragging Kio behind them. When they got in they roughly threw him on the floor in front of us.

"Kio!" I said.

"Shut up." The first guy said, he hadn't moved at all and neither had the people behind us.

"I'm fine Griffin." Kio reassured me and stood up and glared at the guy before his eyes widened as he saw how many there were.

Finally the last guy from upstairs that hadn't spoken moved forward. They started speaking and I realised they were actually a woman. "We were just looting this house and heard you coming, lucky for us we parked out back so you didn't see our car." She paused. "You see we've been quite low on supplies recently because every house we've attempted to raid has been empty by the time we got there. But we finally got to this one first and then you kids showed up. Considering the amount of empty houses we've visited I'd say you have quite the amount of supplies."

"We're low on food so that's why we're here." I spat.

"Oh sweetie we don't mean just food." She said letting out an awfully fake laugh. "Now you are going to lead us to your little base or whatever you might want to call it and we're going to take what we want and leave. You aren't going to follow us and we won't kill you, but if you even try to take your stuff back we will happily watch you be fed to our infected friends."

"Can't we make some sort of deal?" I asked.

"We considered that but we've decided that since this is the apocalypse we've all got to find our ways to survive and you lot have had it easy for too long so no deal." She said, her voice was sickly sweet and I wanted to slam my head into a wall just listening to it. "Right let's go. Take that one with you and you go into their car with them." She instructed the men around her.

The two men at the back dragged Kio away from me and put a gun to his back. "Griffin!"
He yelped looking over his shoulder at me, his eyes were wide and fearful.

"It's gonna be alright just do what they say." I called out to him as I glared at the backs of the two men pulling my boyfriend further and further away from me.

I looked away reluctantly when Kio disappeared from my sight. The guy removed the gun from Noah's head and he let out a shaky sigh of relief.

"Come on." The guy grunted and we all walked out and got into our car. The guy sat in the passenger seat and pointed the gun at the three boys in the bask seat. "Drive."

I didn't hesitate to start driving away from the house. Some part of me wanted to attack the guy and drive off but they had Kio and I knew they would hurt him and I didn't want that.
