Jaden's P.O.V
"Josh." I whispered. "Josh we have to go." The sun was rising between two of the tallest skyscrapers in the city. It's yellow glow slowly swallowing up the dark.

"What?" Josh said deliriously. "Oh yeah." He realised the time and what we were about to go and do and sat up properly in the car seat.

"I wanna switch." I said before he could put the keys in the ignition.

"Sure." Josh said before getting out the car and I did the same. We switched seats so I was now in the driver seat and I turned the keys.

As we drove into the city and through the disheveled streets we didn't talk much, both of us were tense. The hospital came into view and that feeling only doubled. We only had one shot at this and we had to do it perfectly.

We sat for a moment in silence, staring up at the tall building that had caused Josh and I so much grief.

"You ready?" Josh asked and I took a deep breath and nodded. We made sure our guns were fully loaded in case of other zombies that remained inside.

Josh held out his free hand and I took it. "Remember to make sure you know the zombie isn't Anthony before you shoot. I know he locked the floor he was on but we cant be too careful." Josh said and I nodded.

We climbed the stairs at the front of the hospital and pushed through the door as quietly as we could. From the flickering of the lights it looked like some of the generators had shut off but some were still working. We raced through the shadowy corridor and into the stairwell. Our shoes echoed loudly as we sprinted up the stairs.

We stopped at the door to the floor Anthony was on and my heart skipped a beat when I realised how close we really were to having him back.

"Jaden."

"Yeah?"

"I want you to remember that whatever we find in here, it's not Anthony. Well it is but it won't really be him yet so don't get distracted. We can't mess this up." Josh said looking at me.

"I know." I nodded and then turned back to the door. "But he locked it so how are we going to get in?" I asked.

"We could break the door down but that would mean he'd be alerted. So lucky for us I came prepared." Josh said pulling his bag off his shoulders and rummaging through it. He found what he was looking for and pulled out a long, flat, metal rod. I frowned as he inserted it between the double doors at the top. He fiddled around with it for a bit until we heard a satisfying click. Josh put the metal rod back into his bag and pushed lightly on the door. He smiled when it opened.

He crept inside and I followed him. We walked slowly along the corridors. I was trying to calm my breathing, fearing that even that would be loud enough to alert Anthony.

At every door Josh halted and slowly peered inside but at each door so far he came back out and shook his head.

We got to the supply room that had started it all and I had a sudden flashback of those awful moments. I saw how Josh hesitated before looking inside. He came out a second later and shook his head. I sighed in relief and we crossed the hallway to the double doors on the other side.

Josh peered inside and immediately froze. I sensed his nerves almost instantaneously and new that Anthony was in this ward.

I tugged lightly on Josh's sleeve because he hadn't moved and he slowly turned and looked at me with wide eyes. I could see the excitement behind them. He mouthed the words 'he's here' and I nodded, a new feeling blossoming in my stomach.

Josh moves further into the room and I walked behind him and caught the first glance of Anthony. His back was turned towards us and he wasn't moving, just standing there in the centre of the ward. Even though his skin was paler and I couldn't see his face I knew it was him and my heart swelled with joy before I had to remind myself that it wasn't quite him and I needed to remember he was probably going to try and kill me.
