Jaden's P.O.V
In order to get Kio to the nearest Hospital before dark, all three of the cars split up and drove around searching for one.

I sat in the passenger seat, my previous sourness of finally giving in to let Anthony drive having disappeared and replaced with worry for my friend.

"Keep your eyes peeled." Josh muttered. We turned corners and scanned the buildings for another few minutes before the silence was interrupted by a loud car horn. Our signal that one of the others had found the city hospital.

Anthony turned the car around and drove in the direction of the loud sound. We turned a final corner and Noah and Blake's red truck came into view and behind it was a tall building with a very clear red hospital sign above the front doors.

Not even seconds after we arrived, Griffins car came hurtling round from a different direction. As soon as it stopped Griffin got out the back with Kio in his arms.

"Get weapons. This place is gonna be loaded with zombies." He ordered. I remembered how some cities had attempted to cure infected people but it only caused all the doctors, nurses and patients in the building to be infected too, causing hospitals to become one of the most dangerous places.

I grabbed my own gun from my car and then some extra ammunition from the back of the truck, the rest of the boys followed suit and we rushed after Griffin who was already half way up the cracked marble front steps.

"Griffin wait, let us go in front of you to shoot any oncoming zombies or you'll get yourself and Kio killed." Bryce said and he and Noah ran ahead of Griffin, guns raised.

We crashed through the front doors, immediately hearing loud growls from down the dark hallways.

"Blake, Quinton! Get the generators running they should be on the floor below. Jaden, Josh and Anthony stay behind Griffin and Noah and I will stay at the front." Bryce commanded. Blake and Quinton ran off down the hall in search of the staircase and Josh, Anthony and I kept our weapons at the ready.

"We need to get to the floor above and find a ward. We can barricade the doors once Blake and Quinton get inside." Griffin said.

"First runner approaching get ready!" Noah shouted from the front. A gunshot sounded and the runner fell dead. It only caused more shrieks and Inhumane noises to be heard from all over.

We moved as quickly as we could through the dark corridors but the noises were getting louder and louder. The atmosphere was incredibly tense and I felt extremely uneasy.

Noah and Bryce shot down two more at the front but so far none had come from the back, that is until a door behind us crashed open and about four or five zombies came crawling out.

They started running for us and aimed my gun and shot at them. Josh's and Anthony did the same and together we managed to take them all out. We turned back and jogged after Griffin, reloading our guns as we went.

The stairs came into view and we took them two at a time in order to go as fast as possible. When we got to the first floor the lights blinked on one by one, giving the hospital corridors an almost haunted look.

"They made it to the generators." Josh commented. His words echoed down the hall and I shivered.

"There's gonna be zombies on this floor so find a ward and we'll clear it out." Griffin said and we stared moving down the hall in the same formation as before.

We got to some double doors and Bryce counted down from three before kicking the door in and rushing in with his gun held at eye level.

He fired one shot and o heard something hit the floor. "Clear." He called over his shoulder and we all walked in. Bryce dragged the zombie body out through the door and then Noah helped him push a hospital bed up against the door. I helped Anthony push one against another door. We then covered the little windows so that darters couldn't see us.
