Josh's P.O.V
Blake is immune to the zombie bites, which means we have a cure, which means we can save Anthony.

I'm still trying to believe it, all of us are. We all thought Blake was gone along with Anthony but suddenly he's back and everything's been flipped upside down.

We had left the house almost as soon as we got back from the store. Since two of us had been infected we knew we had to get moving. I was still feeling incredibly guilty for pushing the shelves without thinking and I knew Noah was at least slightly mad at me.

We had driven off and along the main road to the border between Colorado and Kansas in rather the same way as when we had left the hospital, silent and sad. Then out of nowhere we hear something and Noah's truck stops and then Jaden stopped our car and we get out to see Noah on the road with someone, and who is that someone? It's Blake. No signs of infection what so ever.

It don't want to say I'm happy that I pushed the shelves and almost killed Blake but if I hadn't then we might not know he was immune. If it was any of the others that were under the shelves we would probably still be two people down.

Blake was currently sitting in the back of the truck getting his arms cleaned up by Griffin. It's kind of crazy that we'd had a cure with us this whole time without even knowing it. We also don't even know if they've found a cure in Missouri yet. We could be the only ones with a cure.

"So what's going to happen now?" Kio said. We were all sitting in the open doors of the cars or standing in the road.

"What do you mean?" Bryce asked.

"Well we have a cure so are we going to go back for Anthony or continue to Missouri and save a bunch of people." Kio said. No one answered. Of course the first thing I thought of doing was going back for Anthony because I promised I would but I forgot that we have the power to practically save the human race.

"Umm... can I just ask that we're not actually going to just take all my blood right? I kinda need it." Blake said.

"No of course not." Quinton said. "Once we get to Missouri, whatever scientists or doctors that are there should be able to make a duplicate and produce a much greater amount with only a very small amount of your blood." He explained and Blake sighed in relief.

"But since I don't have any idea how to do that we would have to take your blood straight up to give it to Anthony if we went back first." Quinton continued and we all nodded slowly.

"That's okay." Blake smiled.

"Why don't we split up." Jaden said quietly from where he was seated in the door of his car.

"No." Griffin said immediately. "We're not splitting up again."

"Just think about it. If Josh and I took some of Blake's blood back and cured Anthony, you all could go on to Missouri and they can make more of the cure." Jaden said.

"But we'd have no way of knowing if you were okay. What if you got infected and never made it back. We wouldn't know until you didn't arrive in Missouri for ages." Bryce said. "It would be like the start all over again."

"We'd be careful though." I interjected.

"You say that but in reality you don't really know!" Griffin said.

"Griffin." Jaden said looking at him sternly. "You know this is the only way we can get Anthony back and save millions of people as quickly as we can."
