Ent. Being Trip Tucker's Sibling and Jonathan Archer's Partner Would Include...

Trip would be very overly protective when it comes to you. He wouldn't want you to get hurt, so he'd try to protect you from anything and everything. Including relationships. Every time you had gotten into a relationship in the past or even showed remote interest in someone, Trip would take it upon himself to get to know said person and see if they're worthy of you.

Trip wouldn't think you and Jonathan would ever get together since he's your superior officer. You didn't think so either, until you and Jonathan started to learn more about one another and spend more time with each other. You'd never try anything with him—not wanting to go against regulations.

With Trip being friends with Jonathan, you too would grow close to the captain. You'd have meals with him in the Captain's Mess, you'd be taught all about water polo, and you'd start to loosen up around him and feel more at ease.

Jonathan would admire your work, he'd always compliment you on it and would often send you on away missions because he knew you'd be able to handle it. When he realized he was developing feelings for you, he wouldn't really know what to do. First of all, he's your commanding officer. Second, you're Trip's sibling. He'd try to push the feelings away, but they would keep resurfacing.

Finally, when the two of you were alone, he'd admit his feelings to you. He'd make it clear that if you didn't feel the same way he wouldn't treat you any differently nor would be use his authority to make you go out with him or anything like that. You'd kiss his cheek softly, telling him you felt the same way.

You and Jonathan would want to tell Trip about your relationship once you figured out what it was. To your surprise, Trip wouldn't be upset. He'd be a little confused—he never noticed how close you two were getting—but he'd be happy for you both. Since Jonathan is his commanding officer, Trip wouldn't really get to do the whole "you hurt them you'll pay" talk, but he'd find a way to make his protective feelings known.

If you were ever in danger, you knew you'd be okay because you had two of the strongest and most protective men on the Enterprise looking out for you.
