Chapter 15: Story Time
Peter was sat at dinner with the others. Natasha kept giving him looks, telling him to say something. Bucky caught on pretty fast and joined in confused. Peter kept shaking his head subtly. Telling her to wait. It was nearing the end of dinner and Peter stood up to take his dish to the sink. Before he could leave, Natasha brought the attention to him.
"So Peter, you have something to say?"
Peter turned around and gave Natasha a 'what the hell' look.
"What does she mean? What are you talking about?" Tony looked between Natasha and Peter.
"I- uh..." Peter stuttered, not really knowing what to say.
"Well?" Sam asked.
"I... I..." He turned to Wanda. She seemed to get the hint and her eyes started to glow. Peter let her into his mind. Suddenly she pulled away.
"You were from Hydra!"
It took the heroes a second to process but once they did, it was a yelling match.
"What!?"
"Hold on what!"
"Excuse me!"
"Who?"
"Hydra? Like that three headed creature?
"Three headed?"
"No! The evil organization we were discussing."
"Oh."
"Kid, you mind explaining." Tony asked.
"What do you want to know?"
'I think they want to know everything ya big idiot.'
"Start from the beginning." Steve stated.
"Okay. Okay. I was basically a child soldier in training." Bucky and Wanda's faces hardened at that. "My childhood up to the age of six was basically me in Hydra's clutch. When I was six, we escaped."
"We?"
"Oh right, while I was there. I was rooming with three others and they and three others were Hydra's little experimentation." Peter growled at that. "I got separated from them while running. I was found by two shield soldiers, my parents."
"Wait. Your last name's Parker. Right?" Clint asked. Peter nodded. "Mary and Richard Parker were your parents?"
"You know them?"
"I knew of them. I didn't know them personally."
"Oh. Anyway, the rest is pretty straight forward. I was dropped off at May and Ben's. Parents disappeared. I because Spider-Man and now Hydra's back. Yay!"
'You've officially lost it.'
"Hydra's after you?" Tony asked, now fully alarmed.
"No. At least, not entirely. I think."
"Oh great, totally clears things up." Sam rolled his eyes.
