Chapter 27

(3rd POV), very lazy chapter, warning you now.

The battle against Rod Reiss came and went. After cannon fire proved ineffective against the titan, the Scouts went through with their plan. The second that the monstrous titan put its hands on the wall and tried to get over it, Sasha and Jean released the barrels of explosives that first cut of its hands then blew up the stumps. Then the two alchemists, who had been placed at the foot of the wall did their jobs without anybody of the garrison noticing, Edward used his alchemy to first destroy beneath the Titan's chin, then Roy Mustang burned what was left to forcing it to take more time to regenerate. Once the mouth was hanging open, Eren in titan form, threw the net of explosives in the bastard's mouth, blowing its head up to pieces. 

The 3DMG users then flew around, trying to find the nape piece that had to be destroyed. And luck would have it that Historia found it and sliced it cleanly. She then managed to convince the population that she was worthy of being queen of the walls. The battle was over and won, the garrison thanked the survey corp several times over, Erwin had to fill in the reports for the central command, the Levi squad and Hange rested in their rooms except for Levi who decided to take Mustang to the Reiss chapel. One, because he wanted to make sure that Kenny and his men were no longer a problem for them, and two, he needed to make sure that the Colonel was up to date on the recent events.

So after handing him the proper uniform, and burning everything of his (except his gloves), he put him on a horse and took him outside Wall Sina.

"So when the Founding Titan power is within a member of the original royal family, that person gains the ability to wipe people's minds."

"Yes that's right." answered the captain, as they rode side by side.

"And so young Historia Reiss, who is the illegitimate daughter of Rod Reiss, who was that titan we just fought, is going to be the rightful queen of the three Walls."

"Yes."

"And Eren, that tall kid that the shrimp hangs out with, is currently holding the Founding Power in him, because he ate his dad who ate Historia's sister, Frieda because she showed no will to eradicate the titans because of the first king's ideals that will be instilled in any Reiss with the founding titan inside them."

"Yes."

"And this kid Eren, showed signs of being able to control titans before, to save the Commander, Fullmetal and, Mikasa Ackerman, his adoptive sister."

"Yes."

"And now the Scout's mission is to get to his basement, in the Shiganshina District, which is a wall city of Wall Maria that fell five years ago, which caused the loss of the lands between Maria and Rose to the titans."

"Yes."

"And this basement, that Eren holds the key to around his neck, supposedly has the answers to all the questions about titans and the creation walls."

"Yes."

"But there are currently four known enemies that are trying or tried to destroy you, Reiner and Bertholdt, two cadets of the 104th that trained with Eren and friends that hold the power of the Colossal and Armored titans who were the ones who destroyed wall Maria years ago."

"Yes."

"And there's also this Beast Titan that seems to be the other two's leader, and who knows how to talk in titan form."

"Yes."

"And there was also the girl Ymir, who was also part of Eren's training corp and was loyal to nobody but Historia, but she ended up being taken by Reiner and Bertholdt and is presumably dead."
