I apologise in advance for this chapter, I thought this story was missing some extreme off-trackness.

 Why was I thinking that?

None of your business.

Tthis chapter is 100% irrelevant to the plot.

"WE HAVE DO WHAT?!" exclaimed Eren and Armin at the same time.

"You heard me perfectly well." calmly replied Hange, as she sipped on her coffee.

The three of them were in Erwin's office, the commander had left to a meeting with Pixis and Levi. Hange, who had stayed behind, had summoned the two of them to the survey corps office to tell them something.

"But why us? Why not Mikasa or Sasha!?" retorted Eren.

"Because everybody knows they're in the Scouts, they'll be recognized in minutes." reminded the section commander.

"But people would know Eren even more, he is humanity's last hope after all." contradicted Armin.

"Yes, they will also know the two of you, but they won't know Erin and Arie." she grinned.

"Oh." they both said, dejectedly.

"Bwahahahaha!!" Edward laughed uncontrollably, hugging his stomach.

The two boys looked slightly annoyed as they looked over their comrades. Sasha mouth was agape, the bread that she was chewing on, completely visible on her tongue. Connie still had water on his lap from spitting all of it out in surprise. Mikasa was wide eyed and Jean was trying to bite back a snarky remark.

"Why us?" mumbled Armin, as the alchemist kept laughing, leaning against the back of his chair.

"Why us." agreed Eren.

"So when is the event?" asked Mikasa.

"Tomorrow..." groaned Eren. "I still don't understand why we have to do this."

"Simple." started Edward, once he calmed down. "It's a private get-together with the queen right? And considering who invited her... it makes sense that the military wants somebody to protect her in case something happens."

"But why do we need to dress up as girls?!" exclaimed the shifter.

"Because nobody is going to suspect a couple girls to have hidden motives, that's basic common knowledge!" Jean said smugly.

"That's sexist!" Sasha protested, her mouth full of food.

"And as for why the two of you, Armin, you already had to dress up as Historia before right?" Edward continued.

"Yeah... that wasn't a very nice experience...." mumbled Armin, remember that traumatic moment.

"And I mean, between the remaining four boys here, who do you think can really pull of being a girl?" finished Edward.

Eren looked at the four others, and sure enough Connie and Jean's faces are too masculine and their body built is too obvious.

"But why not you?! You even have the long hair." pointed out Eren.

He shot him a look then pulled up his right sleeve, and Eren realised that his arm wouldn't exactly blend in very well.

"Ughh. Fine you win..." surrendered the turquoise eyed boy.
