Chapter 36

(3rd POV)

Once the commander repeated the plan one more time, the three of them crossed the street, watching as the wall was barely holding on. They got to the other side and joined the new recruits who were still contemplating death and crying like a bunch of kids.

"LISTEN SURVEY CORP! THESE ARE YOU'RE ONLY ORDERS! YOU WILL FOLLOW BEHIND ME IN A CHARGE ON HORSEBACK TOWARDS THE ENEMY, WE WILL USE THE FLARES TO BLUR HIS AIM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WHILE THESE THREE ELITES WILL ELIMINATE THE BEAST AND HIS TITAN MINIONS." shouted Erwin.

There was a heavy silence for a moment, their faces told the elites that they were expecting this sort of suicide run, but they still refused to die, they were still scared of death.

"So we're going to die..." said one of them, who was still on his knees.

"Unfortunately, yes." replied Erwin.

"Then we don't need to go. RIght? We can just stay here, it's not like it matters, we're dead either way."

"Also true."

A small wave of murmuring spread through the crowd as they thought about this red head's plan of staying here.

"Oi you, who are you?" Edward asked to the boy.

"Floch Forster." he answered.

"Okay Floch. Do you have any idea who I am?"

Floch racked his brain, but couldn't seem to find a name for the face so he shook his head.

"My name is Edward Elric, I'm from another world and I'm here to help the Scout regiment who took me in when they had no reason to trust me." he shouted to the lot of them.

"I am 15 years old, and I've looked into things worse then death, I've been sent into a timeless void with nothing but horrors you can't possibly imagine, I watched my brother disintegrate in front of me because of my mistake and I lost an arm and leg in the process!" he said lifting his sleeve.

"Every since I was a child, I've been cursed and that has made me and everybody around me a target to mutilated man-made lifeforms that make it their mission in life to use me to destroy my home world, and I had to join the military and become the youngest in my rank. And now you're telling me that a bunch of pansies that are mostly older than me are in my way because they are scared of death? Hell no! You wimps are going to go or I swear to god I will move your asses over there myself!"

The scouts looked at him frightfully, completely terrified. Edward thought for a minute that they won't take him seriously, but surprisingly they did. They scrambled away from the boy and on the horses.

"Phew. Didn't think that would work." sighed the alchemist looking back at the commander.

"Well it did. Congratulations." said Levi patting the alchemist on the shoulder.

After that, things went as planned. Levi went left of the alchemy wall, Roy and Edward went on the right, the blond creating a platform underneath the two of them. The moment the wall crumbled down, the scouts charged, screaming in pure terror shooting their green smoke at the enemy. The Beast Titan threw volleys of rocks. But it took several throws before every scout fell.

Meanwhile the two teams took down the army of titans. Levi cutting them one by one down swiftly, and the alchemists first dropping them underground then burning their napes. The three of them met at the center at the Beast Titan at the same time.

"Die bitch." hissed Levi.

After that, things went quickly, Edward shot Mustang up to the titan's face on a pillar, he then burned the titan's eyes out. Edward took care of his feet trapping them then cutting him down by the ankles. Levi carved up his furry arms then fingers and finally sliced open the nape and pulled out the man inside.

The three of them grouped up on the titan body's back and surround the man. He was blond, bearded and with these round glasses on his face.

"How does it feel to be beaten down?" hissed the boy.

"You clearly enjoyed cutting down our comrades so you're going to-"

But he never got to finish because the two of them got tackled by Mustang and just in time. The quadrupedal titan dove in, mouth open and grabbed the blond man before running away.

"You coward... where are you going... we're not done yet." mumbled Levi, walking towards the titan.

But then several titans came running towards them, mouths open and hands ready to grab them. Mustang set the grass of fire, burning their feet off then the two others used their gear to kill them all while they couldn't run away.

Once they were all dead, Levi looked at the cart titan who was getting closer and closer to Shiganshina.

"Think you can get us there?" asked Levi.

"Of course." replied Edward.
