Laxus POV~~

I gulped down my drink and waved for another one, as the addictive liquid burned through my throat.

"What are you doing?" I turned around and my eyes met with hers, "What do you mean, what am I doing?" she just rolled her eyes and grabbed my hand causing me to place down the glass. "Dance with me," she insisted. 

"You know I don't dance" I whisper-yelled. "Then I'll teach you," she whispered in my ear as a song came on.

She placed one hand on my shoulder and entwined the other with my hand, I placed my other hand on her waist. "See its easy" she spoke quietly enough for me to hear, I noticed that the crowd had made a circle around us and just watched us as we became one with the music.

Everything around us was blurred and all I could focus on was her. My light, my hope, my Rami. I finally adjusted and moved on my own, letting the rhythm control me. I stared into her eyes and she into mine, I would do this forever. Even the song lyrics so coincidental to the event.

I'll climb every mountain, swim every ocean, just to be with you and fix what I broken, because I need you to see, that you are the reason.

I know I'm back in Fairy Tail, replaying the events in my head, what I did to the guild is unforgivable. What if she was there? Would I of acted differently?  She would've beat my ass. 

She sighed against my chest and laid her head into the center of my warmth. My hand made it's way over to the top of her head as I held it with a soft grip. The movement of her skull titled upwards as her bright eyes looked up into mine and her lips tugged into a smile. My heart fluttered at this as I grinned back, taking in a deep breath. 

What is she doing to me?

Rami POV~~

This was the best, everything in the world now just mattered on our steps, when we finally finished we didn't bother to move our mouths to suppress speech. Our eyes represented language itself already. 

He looked at me like he had never looked at me before. "All right attention everyone," this broke our eye contact and we both focused on the man standing in the center of the ballroom. 

"I would like to thank everyone for making it to this ball and for letting me keep this precious gem intact and safe." He said as he eyed Laxus and I. Smiling back, I gave a small nod. "This unfortunately brings and end to our grand ball, If you would like to attend the after party please make your way to the foyer," At this, I turned my head to look at the man next to me. He released a breath and I already knew he couldn't stand being here anymore. 

After people had made their way over to the foyer I eyed Jeremy and made my over to him, he noticed and walked towards me too. "Ah yes the reward, please, follow me," He spoke with a dark tone. I turned around to see Laxus with his arms crossed, looking at me. "I'll be back with the reward, come get me after a bit, something's wrong, I can sense it." 

I managed to say audibly enough so he could hear me from the distance. Worry struck his face and he stepped towards me as I was following Jeremy, but I shook my head and gestured towards the bar as he stayed put.
