We were on our way back walking to Magnolia after a silent train ride, when we spotted some commotion in front of the guild hall. "You smell weird!" Natsu shrieked as he sniffed a girl with striking neon red and black hair in front of him.

As we walked into the crowd, people stepped aside to make space for us, causing the girl to widen her eyes at a bored Laxus.

Then his eyes met with hers and a tiny flame enlightened inside his orbs, with me standing next to him looking between the two, like a fucking third wheel. 

"Alison?" He released with a gruff voice from the lack of speaking. She ran into his arms and wrapped her legs around his torso.

I scowled at the close contact between the two and walked inside the guildhall with a disinterested face. The guild members eyes studied my steps as I left the lightning dragon slayer to re-unite with Alex? A lick a dick?

 Whatever the fuck her name was.

I went towards the S-class request board and started looking for another quest. I don't wanna stick around for this shit.

"Leaving so soon? You just got back." Master asked with closed eyes from the bar counter top. I scoffed at this and tore a paper pinned on the wooden board. 

"I might stick around. I'll see." I shrugged and went to the bar pouring me a glass of vodka. The guild was empty except for only a few people, everyone else was outside.

"That's a pretty strong drink Rami. What's on your mind?" Asked a worried Gray as he sat on the stool opposite me. 

I forgot about his little crush on me. 

"Nothing. Do you mind?" I stated with a bothered tone and tight lip as I raised my glass and he chilled the contents inside. 

"You sure? It's doesn't seem like nothin," He pushed further for answers and tears threatened to pour out of my eyes. I looked past him and noticed that members were about to enter the guild again.

I reached for Gray's hand and looked at the old man gesturing towards a room in the guild with my eyes. He nodded with a worried glance and saw the girl with blue hair following behind us. "You can come in too," I said as my voice cracked and she happily followed with a glare. I swore I heard her say, "Love rival" and "Beloved Gray." 

So she has a thing for ice princess, kinda obvious.

I pushed them both inside the room and they sat closely together on a two-seater, dust covered sofa. "Juvia was it?" I asked the blue haired girl with a saddened look. "Yes that would be Juvia's name." She proudly spoke in third person.

 "Ok, cool. You guys are probably wondering why you're here. Am I right?" They both nodded as they looked at each other confused. I took in a deep breath and huffed as I sat down on the chair opposite them.

My head rested down in my palms and I felt the awkwardness radiating off of them as they peered at me. I finally looked up with tears filled in my eyes. The water and ice mages softened their faces in pity. "R-Rami, may Juvia ask what is the matter?" Juvia stuttered and carefully placed her words. 

"As you know I left on a mission with Laxus a couple days back-" I started but was immediately interrupted by the ice mage as he stood up. 

"If he did anything to you I swear I'll ugh," he huffed towards the end of his sentence in anger and even Juvia stood up too.

"Juvia will also punish him!" I blinked at them both longingly and they both sat down slowly regretting their abrupt actions. 

"It's nothing like that, he saved me actually." I muttered and played with my fingers.
