i sighed and drove to grandma's house.
Mattia's mom/grandma- honey, your here
she said as she opened the door
mateo- here ma
i said as i handed her the flowers
ma- what's wrong, everything okay
mateo- yea i just thinking about karla
she sighed and hugged me, we stayed in that position for a couple mins and then i left.

at home
i seen the boys getting ready for our first mission. i ran to my room and finished packing.
y/n- good luck
mateo- thanks mom
y/n- okay now go, or your gonna miss your flight
she said rubbing my cheek. i kissed her forehead and ran to the boys. we got into the cars and left to the jet.

Karla's pov
Once i got home i found dad on the couch with a beer in his hand
Karla- where's mom
mariano- she's probably fucking some guy said and finish his beer
i went upstairs and checked her room, she was gone. i went to my room and showered. after i showered i checked my phone and i recived an unknown message.

mateo- did some research

mateo- come to my place friday night for a dinner with my parents

I turned my phone off and went to sleep.

Friday mateo's pov
mateo- mom please don't embarrass me
y/n- okay
she said chuckling.
mattia- so do you like her
mateo- i mean i do buh then i dont. i just want a friendship
I said and then the doorbell rang. I took a deep breath and opened the door and she stood their with some flowers
karla- hey
She smiled
mateo- hey
i said as i let her in, she greeted my parents and handed my mom the flowers.

y/n's pov
i felt a spark once our hands touched from her greeting and giving me the flowers. i watched as she sat down next to mateo. the ways her eyes shined and her smile reminded me of my baby karla.
y/n- so karla, why dont you bring your parents and we can have a small gathering
karla- oh um they had just left for brasil
she said stuttering
y/n- okay
i smiled as we all served our food. After the food, mattia and mateo went outside to talk about some mafia buisness while karla and i cleaned up.

karla- nicole sanders
Y/n- and your dad
karla- mariano
She said as she put the plates in the sink. My eyes went wide
y/n- castano?
karla- no, mariano sanders
she said chuckling
y/n- oh, i just thought. Dinner was nice and im glad you and mateo get along
karla- me too
She smiled and the rest of the night we cleaned.

Karla- im surprised they do
Mateo- what do you mean
i said as we were walking outside
Karla- oh nothing, im just saying
i said as we got to her car
mateo- i'll see you around

she said as i stepped back, i watched her drive away. Once she turned around the block, i went back inside and showered.

I arrived home and seen mother cooking
Mom- you hungry
karla- no thank you, i just ate
mom- from
karla- the polibio's house
Mom- how many times have i told you to stick to your plan. Stop getting friendly with them!
she yelled
Karla- I still dont know why you hate them so much, or why you dont want me to-
Mom- their our biggest rivals, they tried taking you from me. they did horrible things to me and tried hurting you. The've just caused so many things.
She yelled again. I stayed quiet and bit my lip
karla- sorry mom
i said and walked upstairs
