Chapter 14 A Jinnie Day

"Omo! Help me here Bin. Just one more step up." Ye Jin said in a hushed voice, trying not to wake Halabeoji.

Ye Jin was trying to get the two of them up the stairs and into their bedroom, her petite frame finding it extremely difficult to support Bin's broad and tall frame. The man is completely out of it and he was simply smiling at her like a dork as he tried to poke her cheek.

"Bin, you can poke me all you want later, just move your foot up for me." Ye Jin said exasperatedly as she tried to nudge his foot up another step.

If she wasn't trying to support both of them, she would have laughed at how child-like Bin is now. Since that wasn't the case, Ye Jin was more focused on her current task. Getting the big baby to bed.

After their talk, they had continued drinking the rest of the soju. While it was truly only one more bottle, Bin had already gone through two full bottles of it previously.

While Ye Jin was only slightly drowsy from the soju, she was still well-aware of everything. She couldn't say the same for Bin though...Finally, they made it up the steps and after some more staggering, Ye Jin finally got Bin in bed.

"Ani, come here wifey! You can't leave me alone!" Hyun Bin sang when he noticed he was alone on the bed. He was being so loud as he protested that Ye Jin had to slap her hand over his mouth.

"Hush Bin, I'll join you in a bit. Let me just take off your slippers." Ye Jin said sternly, knowing there was no way Bin was letting her out of his sight if she wasn't stern with him.

When she was sure he would be quiet, Ye Jin quickly left his side to prepare for the night. Taking off Bin's slippers, she made sure he was tucked in before she went to take a shower.

The room was quiet when she got out of the shower and a peek at Bin confirmed that he is asleep. Ye Jin's lips twisted up in a smile at the sight and she couldn't help but admire how handsome he looks in his sleep.

Carefully slipping herself under the covers, Ye Jin continued to sit upright in the bed as she looked down at Bin. After the conversation they shared, Ye Jin found that she needed some time to organise her thoughts and emotions. Right now, she felt as though she was feeling too many things at once and she knew she might break down if she doesn't internalise them for a bit.

Ye Jin could still feel the ache in her heart from hearing about Bin's childhood. Though she knew it wasn't rainbows and roses based on hHlabeoji's story, she never expected it to be that harsh. She can't believe his family was so cruel to him and that they never once stopped to say they love him.

Now that she knew the full story, Ye Jin was also starting to feel guilty lying to him about her identity. He doesn't deserve the lies her family has been feeding him. She knew that ultimately if anything goes wrong, the one who will end up getting hurt will be Bin.

The one and only person that has remained innocent through it all has been the only one that has gone through so many rounds of suffering and betrayal from those he loved. She didn't want Bin to get hurt and she knew it would break her heart if he does because of her.

Ye Jin was feeling conflicted about what to do. While she didn't want to lie to him, she knew that they were already in too deep. Her eomeoni wouldn't be too happy if her plans got ruined either.

Maybe the best course of action would be for her to switch back with her twin as soon as possible so that he would get to know his real wife instead of her. Ye Jin just prayed that when Ji Wan takes back her life, that she would be kind to Bin and be a good support system for him to heal. With her mind set, Ye Jin decided she would give her eomeoni a call tomorrow.
