The past month saw Ye Jin helping Hyun Bin overcome his trauma as she encouraged him to talk about his feelings. It hasn't been easy, and Hyun Bin woke up from his hallowing nightmares on numerous nights only to find himself back in his wife's arms as he let the panic attack die down.

But, gradually, Hyun Bin began to improve. The nightmares became less frequent and Hyun Bin has never felt so light in his life before. Ye Jin was happy that Hyun Bin finally felt safe and secure in his family home and that he was completely opening up to everyone slowly.

Halabeoji and Hyun Bin were also mending their relationship and she would often see them out in the veranda together, chatting away as she took care of her flowers. No one can deny that Hyun Bin has finally freed himself from the chains of pain and self-torment that kept him from living his life.

Right now, Ye Jin was in the garden potting some of the flowers to place in the family house. It was the winter season and Ye Jin needed to pot them before they withered under the coldness. The flowers have bloomed beautifully, and the peonies were especially radiant. Ye Jin smiled happily at how vibrant the garden looks now that there is some colour to it.

Looking over at the veranda, Ye Jin's eyes softened seeing Hyun Bin's eyes crinkled up in laughter at something Halabeoji said. His dimples were on full show and Ye Jin's heart warmed at the fact that Hyun Bin has finally learnt to let loose. Dusting herself off the ground, Ye Jin got up and joined them in the veranda.

"You're done?" Hyun Bin asked when Jinnie approached them.

"Ne, help me bring them in." Ye Jin smiled.

"Halabeoji, let me help you to the common room first." Hyun Bin offered.

As the stubborn man he is, Halabeoji waved his hand dismissively. "Ani, help your wife with the flowers. I'm old but I can handle walking to the common room myself."

The three strolled over to the back entrance and the couple took the potted plants in with them.

"They're beautiful Jinnie, just like you." Hyun Bin said, his eyes gazing at her lovingly.

Ye Jin swooned at the compliment and smiled softly at Bin. No words were needed as the couple decorated the family house with the potted flowers before Hyun Bin took Jinnie's hand and led her to the common room.

Halabeoji was already waiting for them in the common room with the box of decorations and was studying the Christmas tree they ordered. "It's been a while since we had a Christmas tree in the family house."

"Ne, it was Jinnie's idea." Hyun Bin said. Ye Jin blushed at that and quickly diverted their attention away from her.

"Let's get started!" Ye Jin clapped enthusiastically, already feeling the Christmas spirit as she dug through the box of decorations and started hanging them on the tree. The three spent the morning hanging up the decorations and Ye Jin laughed when Hyun Bin started to make funny faces at the shiny balls.

"Look my face is distorted." Hyun Bin puffed out his cheeks and crossed his eyes.

"Oh, that's funny." Ye Jin doubled over in laughter at how goofy Bin was.

Soon, she started making funny faces with him as well. Halabeoji shook his head in amusement at his grandson and his wife and the three carried on with their decorating as they laughed and talked.
