"Jinnie..." Hyun Bin said when he noticed her wide awake. Everything seem to still then as he stared into the depths of her beautiful eyes. The very eyes that he has been praying desperately to see again. There seem to be a myriad of emotions on her face and Hyun Bin thought he caught a glimpse of warmth, love and then regret in Jinnie's eyes.
He didn't know what he was feeling. Relief that she is finally awake after all this time? Relief that the worst is over? Fear that he might lose her again? Frustration that she jumped in front of a knife for him? Frustration that he didn't manage to protect her in the end? Pain that he was so close to losing her? Hyun Bin knew what he was feeling was complicated but he knew one thing. He loves her and he isn't letting her go ever again. The tears slowly slipped down his face as he continued looking at Jinnie and he clenched his eyes shut before he opened them again.

"Bin." Ye Jin responded softly, her voice hoarse from the lack of use. Ye Jin initially braced herself, expecting to see some hatred or coldness in Hyun Bin's eyes but she was surprised when his eyes showed nothing but love and relief that she is awake. The tears in his eyes were enough to make her emotional as she teared up as well. It was difficult to wake up but she fought through it. She missed him. She missed their child too. She was scared too. It pained her to see Bin crying because of her again.

Now, Hyun Bin was simply eyeing Ye Jin with concern too when he heard how weak she sounded when she said his name. Hyun Bin was just about to put Eun Ae down to pour Jinnie a glass of water before getting the doctor when the doors slid open to reveal Hae In and Hyo Jin.
"Hyun Bin ssi, we got some bimbimbap and side dishes. Is that okay?" Hyo Jin asked as she walked in behind Hae In. Neither Hae In nor Hyo Jin was aware that Ye Jin was awake yet, their eyes still focused on the lunch in their hands. It was only when Hae In realised that Hyun Bin was unresponsive that he looked up and froze. His cousin is awake.
Hyo Jin bumped into Hae In when he suddenly stopped in the middle of nowhere and she cursed at him as she rubbed her forehead. "YA Hae In ah. Why did you stop? That hurts...Omo Ye Jin! You're awake!" Hyo Jin said, her eyes widening with delight.
